'' hey darryl '' i called out

dar looked at me '' yea george? '' he responded

'' what are clay's favourite flowers? ''

he looked a little confused '' calendulas, why? ''

i got up '' im getting him calendulas '' i told him

'' oOooO! '' darryl teased

i walked towards the dorm door '' i'll be going to the flowershop! '' i shouted, even thought he was like. . 5 feet away

i walked out the door and down the stairs

i live in a dorm at my college on the 4th floor so it took 20 minutes to go down

after 4 flights of stairs, i went out the exit and went to the flowershop


a few minutes later

i walked through the doors of the flowershop

red heard the door opening and went to the counter

'' hey george, i never see you a lot ''

'' how do you know my name red? '' i asked

'' same reason why you know mine '' red responded

'' blue? ''

'' yep ''

'' anyway, who are you gonna ask out? '' red asked me

'' now, how do you know i'm going to ask somebody out? '' i asked back

'' well, everybody comes here to get flowers for their SO, or to ask somebody out. it happens so much we're so close to rename this shop '' the love flowers '' '' they responded

i snickered '' well, i came here to get calendulas forr, clay ''

'' clay?? why him? ''

i shrugged '' i like him i guess ''

'' well, clay is a total bottom, you probably already know that '' they told me

'' yea, he is '' i told back

'' anyway, the calendulas are on the 2 shelf '' they told me

'' alright ''

i went to the 4th shelf and grabbed the calendulas and paid for htem

'' thanks red! ''

'' welcome ''

time skip

i was walking around trying to find clay

and then, i saw him just walking around

'' hey clay '' i called out 

clay looked at me '' huh? ''

i walked towards him and gave him the flowers '' for you ''

clay looked at the flowers and blushed '' for me? ''

i nodded

'' i. . thank you ''  

'' i prefer an ' i love you ' '' i told him 

'' WhAt?! '' clay screamed

'' come onn, say itt '' 

'' nO- I- NoO ''

'' say it ''

'' fine. . i love- you ''

i smiled

'' i love you too ''
