Out of the blue Samatha Tyler sucked in a sharp ragged breath awakening with a shuttering start. Her body shook as the neurons in her brain tried too get a handle on her new situation. Everything was bright lights and blurry imagines for the first few breaths until the room seen too meld into solid forms that Sam could recognize when her breathing slowly evened out. When she was finally able to get her bearings Sam finally figured out from the two medical beds with her in one of the two beds that she was in a military infirmary. This would not have been that bad a thing too have found one's self in but when she tried too move her right hand which was shackled securely too the hospital bed had a tendency too eek at one's nerves. Sam was trying too make sense of that fact when she was able too notice that she was under armed guard as well. The rather large Military Policeman's back in the doorway could be seen quite clearly through the frosted glass. Sam yelled out trying too draw the attention from the guard who stood stock still on the other side of the door. After several more tries which drew nothing what so ever Sam gave up yelling then tried too squeeze her hand through the handcuff that held her too the bed. Sam didn't have man hands which was a plus but when she was young Sam could slip her hand through a set of cuffs. She used too hide a mini slim jim in her uniform in case she was ever captured. But being handcuffed too this hospital bed as well as naked under a surgical grown meant the slim jim was totally out of reach. Her right hand went numb turning red from the effort so she decided too stop for now anyway. The door suddenly eased open startling Sam as she dropped her hand back on the bed. Two Nurses then one doctor a major no less came into her room checking vital signs as well as IV lines in her right arm. Sam fired off a large number of queries but no matter how she pleaded with them no one would even acknowledge why she was shackled and under guard. Everyone refused too even speak too Sam too answer her question. The doctor and the two nurses acted like they didn't think that she even existed. After some time passed and the Doctor and nurses cleared out a lot of billowing frustration the events of her mission flooded back too Sam in waves which racked her body with guilt. No matter how hard she tried too block out the images Sam remembered those strange ass animal looking tango's turning each member of her team into mounds of chopped ground beef.

No matter how she tried too wrap her mind around everything that happened Sam tried to chalk it all up too a mega clusterfuck from the word go. Colonel Myers the little fucking weasel had dumped this entire mission on Sam in the dead of night without any kind of backup or air support let alone any kind of intel on what her team were about too face. She was beginning too doubt if the Seal Team Myers had spoke of during their joke of a briefing even existed. Sam racked her brain for any type of clue that might tell her why the fates had doomed herself as well as her team as they did. She had no beefs with anyone up the chain of command at her post in the Arab Emirates. Myers had been a rather cold piece of dead fish upon her being given the command of a combat team. But Myers knew all too well that The Commander and Chief and those down the daisy chain were watching to see if women were indeed a viable option for combat duty. Sam wondered if this may have been Myers or any of those that disagreed with The C.N.C's belief in women in combat. Her mind reeled trying every way possible to think if she had not been setup too fail from the beginning even at the expense of her entire team. That idea was not ever going too sit well with Sam for the rest of her life. Sam couldn't see any of the Good Ole Boy's in command could possibly have the stones to simply give up all the men in her team too be slaughtered like they were. Her attention was drawn away from her recrimination as there was a slight commotion at Sam's door a second time which drew her attention back to the here and now. After a short exchange of heated words another major walked through the door into her room with a nice fancy leather briefcase in his right hand. The Major pushed by the M.P. like he wasn't even there. He walked like he owned the room over too Sam's bedside table setting the leather briefcase on it. He opened his briefcase then looked over too Sam a mild smile on his face.
