"Time is not your friend"

"But time has some friends doesn't it?"

"He, HE has NO friends, and never has."

Laughing, I fell backwards on my bed, untangling myself from sitting criss cross for so long.

"So you gave pronouns to time now. Unbelievable!" I grinned at Natalie, biting my lip trying to stop a laugh.

"What?! Time always has been a 'he' for a long time. And you can't say nothing about your pronouns." Natalie retorted, sticking her tongue out to annoy me.

"Hey, I am an actual living thing, time isn't." I backchatted, flipping Nat off.

"Time has FEELINGS you know. And time could be watching right now, he could be seeing you chat shit about him at this very moment." Nat said pulling out a dead eyelash from her eye, well...clock eye.

"At this point in time, I think you're talking about yourself mate, I mean like you have a clock for one of your eyes and you have feelings and you're an actual person. Think about that dumb ass"

"Oh shut up, you creepy looking ass." Nat said while taking off her green coat and laying next to me.

A silence spread across the room, not an awkward silence but a silence that will make you feel safe.

"(Y/N)?"

"Sup?"

"Do you ever think that if we weren't insane serial killers, we could've started a whole new life together?" Nat questioned, turning her body onto her side looking into my eyes.

"Sometimes I do."

"Well...why can't we try now?"

"Nat, we are literal killers living in a shack."

"Cabin. Cabin (Y/N). Yes we are killers, but why can't we start a new life? Just me and you, a fresh start? Yeah?"

"Nat..." I said rubbing my temples, already getting a headache.

"(Y/N), I'm being serious, please consider it." Nat whined as if i've already hurt her feelings.

"Nat...."

"Pleeeeaaassseeee (Y/N)!"

"NATALIE!" I shouted, slightly losing my temper.

"What?"

"I appreciate where you're coming from, but it just won't work. Like we can still be together and live a not so normal life, just not as what me and you want."

"Okay...I understand." Nat sniffled, holding back tears.

"Oh Nat, I'm so sorry. It's just....these whole chain of events really just messed shit up." I said, pulling her into a hug as if she was going to go and never to return.

"I know, it's not your fault, it's that fucking slendermans' fault that's what it is." Nat said, hugging me tighter while letting tears flow.

"I know darling, I know. But i'm still going to be with you until the end of time." I said, placing a kiss to her forehead.

"Hehe, funny you should mention time actually..."

"Naaaattttt! Nooooo!" I groaned, covering my ears with my hands trying to block out Nats' speech about time.
