Announcer: and it's a direct hit with rising voltage combined with electric terrain!
Goh: so much power.
(Y/N): that is scary to see.
Ash: Lucario return! (Returns Lucario) you take a good rest, (gets another pokeball) electric terrain that was rough.
(Luxray roars)
Ash: alright gengar I choose you next! (Sends out gengar)
Announcer: Ash sends out his second Pokémon gengar.
(We see gengar stick it's tongue out at luxray and is floating about)
Volkner: luxray use snarl!
(Luxray uses snarl as gengar dodges it with ease)
Announcer: whoa gengar dodged the snarl!
Volkner: what!
Ash: now use psychic!
(Gengar flies beyond luxray and uses psychic lifting luxray into the air and slamming it into the ground)
Ash: night shade go!
(Gengar uses night shade hitting luxray directly but it stays on its feet)
Ash: awesome gengar!
Goh: Ash can do this!
(Grookey is tapping its stick on the barricade thing while cheering as toxel is cheering as gengar calls over to luxray who looks as gengar taunts and teases it with it's speed by disappearing and reappearing elsewhere)
Announcer: that gengar sure is sneaky. Luxray has been brought to a standstill
(Y/N): oh no gengar is doing that thing again. (Referring to gengar's taunting and it's shenanigans)
Volkner: luxray return! (Returns luxray as gengar looks confused) your gengar is something else. Who knew luxray could get so flustered.
Ash: (laughs) now gengar mess with them even more.
Volkner: alright this one is next! (Sends out rotom fan)
Announcer: Volkner's second Pokémon is a rotom in fan form called fan rotom!
Rotom phone: rotom (fan form), the plasma Pokémon, an electric/flying type. Fan rotom lives in an electric fan equipped with a special motor.
Goh: wow an electric fan.
(Y/N): this isn't good.
Goh: huh?
(Y/N): I've faced Volkner's rotom in my gym battle against him, he'd just caught it, and it was fast then. There no imagining how fast it is now. I lost the first time to a close match but the second match instead of using a jolteon he used fan rotom and destroyed me and on the third attempt where he used rotom fan again my team managed to barely win.
(Gengar tries using its speed disappearing thing but rotom fan can keep up with it)
Volkner: use air slash!
(Fan rotom uses air slash)
Ash: night shade! Go!
(Gengar uses night shade as the two attacks clash)
Announcer: this has become a fascinating match indeed with both Pokémon able to fly around at will!
Ash: gengar use ice punch!
(Gengar uses ice punch)
Volkner: use thunder wave!
(Rotom fan dodges the incoming ice punch and hits gengar with thunder wave which sends gengar to the ground and while there's no damage dealt gengar is paralysed)
