When Lalisa and Jungkook arrived at the restaurant, it was 11am and the others had all arrived. Seeing them come in, Minhyuk jested, “Oh, you two always come so late. We’ve been waiting for you for almost an hour.”

Lalisa raised her eyebrows. “Isn’t the lunch starting at 11 am?” She asked in doubt. Did Jungkook get the time wrong?

Minhyuk paused and nodded. “Yes, it will start at 11 am.”

Lalisa nodded with a smile. “Then we aren’t late. We arrived exactly on time.”

Jennie signaled Lalisa to sit beside her and said to her with a smile, “My brother was messing with you. We just arrived and haven’t ordered any of the dishes yet. Feel free to order the dishes you like.”

Lalisa nodded with a smile. Minhyuk looked at her and said, “Lili, didn’t you say you would invite that Kwon Lalisa to be your endorser? How is your plan going? Has she agreed?”

Lalisa raised her eyebrows and smiled. “Brother Minhyuk seems to care about our company very much.”

Sehun shrugged and Min jested, “He doesn’t care about your company, but the heiress to the Empire Group. He was so excited when he saw that girl yesterday and even called me to talk about this.”

“She is a charming young lady indeed.” Minhyuk didn’t cover up that he had a crush on Lalisa and didn’t notice the cold gleam in Jungkook’s eyes when the latter heard his words. Minhyuk continued, “Besides, Kwon Lalisa has already broken up with Jungkook. Every man has a chance now. I didn’t know in the past that we studied at the same university. Now I feel we are somewhat closer.”

Then he said in fascination, “I suddenly have an impulse to get married.”

“…” Lalisa who was drinking water was stunned by his words. Minhyuk noticed her look and gave her a fawning smile, saying, “Lili, you must persuade Kwon Lalisa to be your company’s endorser. My future counts on you.”

Seeing that Lalisa was completely stupefied, Minhyuk narrowed his eyes, asking, “Lili, why are you giving me that look?”

“What makes you think she will accept your wooing?” Jungkook who remained silent suddenly snorted and said coldly.

Minhyuk’s face darkened when he heard Jungkook’s words. He asked angrily, “What do you mean? Do you mean I don’t deserve her? Do you still love her?”

Mino tugged on Minhyuk’s arm. Jungkook narrowed his eyes and within his gaze was a chilly gleam. Minhyuk stared at Jungkook and yelled, “What? I can’t chase her even though you two broke up so long ago? Who do you think you are?”

Jungkook glanced at Minhyuk and his aura grew aggressive. Noticing that, Lalisa hurriedly tugged on Jungkook’s arm and said to Minhyuk with a smile, “Not even close. I tried to contact Miss Kwon since yesterday, but I can’t contact her, so I don’t know whether she will accept my invitation.”

Hearing Lalisa’s words, Minhyuk didn’t bother to quarrel with Jungkook but said smugly, “You certainly can’t contact her. She has gone back to China. I met her yesterday and she told me she was going back to China. Now she is probably on an airplane, so you can’t reach her.”

Hearing his words, Lalisa tried to hold back laughter and pretended to be surprised. She looked at Minhyuk and asked, “Really?”

Minhyuk nodded seriously. “Sure, she told me that. It can’t be wrong.”
