Uncrushable

Uncrushable
Not a hard rock
Or multiple layers of stone
I compare myself to a diamond
And No, I'm not made of carbon
Beautiful when polished and shined
Some fail to recognize it's me sometimes
My natural state is a mine
Filled with precious stones
Most times overlooked by blinded eyes
But like a diamond
A precious stone
You don't get me polished and shiny
You get me shabby and unformed
The real state
I'm not glittery like gold you can see from afar
Or shiny like sliver blinding under the sun
I'm a diamond
Beautiful when polished and shined
And No, I'm not made of carbon
I'm unformed
And uncrushable.
