• in takes place in modern Nockfell with the same characters
• sals personality is not cannon in the first couple chapters
• all of the main characters have cellphones
• The cults real, but what they believe it isn't. There isn't anything paranormal going on in Nockville.
• they don't go ghost hunting because there aren't any ghosts/anything paranormal going on
