"ahh it's the guy who couldn't receive my serves" Oikawa said

the two got closer two each other arms crossed staring each other down

tsukishima was just slightly taller by a couple inches

"OIKAWA GET YOUR ASS HERE!" iwaizumi scolded him loudly

this caught Oikawa off guard and he backed away from tsukishima

"I'm coming!" Oikawa yelled back

he gave tsukishima a glare before running off to iwaizumi

"what the hell was that about?" I ask

"nothing" tsukishima said and began to walk away

boys are weird.

i sigh and finish cleaning up the equipment.

"hey l/n!" I heard Oikawa calling me

I look up at him and he says "hold you're hand out"

i furrow my eyebrows at this "why" I questioned curiously

"just do it" he said

"fine!" I say as I hold my hand out

he places a folded piece of paper in my hand "what's this?" I ask

he waved goodbye to me "call me" he says before winking at me

he runs to catch up to the rest of the team

i unfolded the piece of paper and it read

i went to grab my things from the bleachers "thank you so much for helping out today l/n if you want you can help us out for all our practices" daichi said

i shook my head rapidly "no thanks, no more volleyball for me" I said

he laughs at what I said "alright then get home safe"

i nod my head as I throw my bag over my shoulder "you too"

and with that I finally exit the gymnasium and the school

i notice it's already dark out and it began raining

"fuck me!" I shout

"ew no that's disgusting"

i turn around to see a tall lanky blonde behind me

"you're annoying" I say as I roll my eyes

"aww thanks" he sarcastically says

"whatever um do you have... a spare umbrella?" I ask embarrassed since I forgot mine

"no why would I carry an extra umbrella?" he scoffs

i stay silent so he then examines my figure and facial features "you forgot you're umbrella didn't you?" he asks

i quickly look away and avoid his gaze, my cheeks turn a light shade of pink "no" I quietly muter

"you know you could just ask me to walk you home" he says teasingly

"hell no!" I say dramatically

"suit yourself" he says as he opens his umbrella and begins to walk away

"WAIT!!" I shout causing him to look back at me, his golden orbs shining brighter in the moonlight.

".. can you walk me home?" i quietly ask while staring at the ground

"what's the magic word?" he asks teasingly

"don't push it!" I shout looking back at him

"fine c'mere" he says and I quickly sprint towards him and he shelters me with his umbrella

the walk to my house was mostly silence except for when we'd made snarky remarks at each other

"we're here" I say

"hey.. tsukishima?"

he looks down at me and I swear for a second I saw his checks turn red

nah it's probably just the rain playing tricks on me..

"yeah?" he asks

"thank you... for walking me home." I say

"wow I never knew l/n could be nice!" tsukishima teased

"you know what fuck you!" I click my tongue at him

"calm down, it's just a joke" he says "no need to get all riled up

"whatever you pissed me off" I say as I roll my eyes at him

he suddenly starts laughing "why're your laughing you psycho?" I ask

"shut up midget" he says

"fuck you" I say as I kick his leg and run inside my house

"OWWW L/NNN!!" he groans and his yells slowly became distant as I closed the front door

I don't know why but I felt myself smile a little as I took off my shoes

"ouuu who was that?" katsuro teased

"yes please enlighten us y/n" hayate said from beside him

"does y/n have a boyfriend?" ayumu's eyes lit up

"yeah do you?" hayate asked while looking at me

"mind your business" I say as I sprint upstairs

as soon as I enter my room I lay flat on my bed

maybe tsukishima isn't so bad...

nah what am I saying? tsukishima is the worst of the worst.
