"It's not," Dustin responded.

"All right?"

"It's not a prank. Get it out of my face."

"You got a key for this thing?"

"Okay, just wait, stay back," Salem turned, keeping his gun pointed at the doors. "I'll open it."

"No, I'll do it." Steve took the key from Dustin, opening it quickly; he muttered under his breath. "Don't want you to get hurt."

Salem kept his gun pointed at the dark space; Dustin handed the flashlight to Steve. "He must be further down there," Dustin suggested. "I'll stay up here in case he tries to escape."

Steve slowly turned back to look at the younger boy while Salem rolled his eyes. Salem patted down his pockets, pulling out a switchblade. "Here," he handed the small blade to Dustin. "I'll go down first."

Steve sighed, stepping closer before Salem moved in front of him. Steve walked close to the other boy, pulling the light cord he had found.

"What the fuck is that?" Salem questioned, gesturing to the odd slimy substance on the floor. Steve used his bat to pick it up, then glanced over. "Holy shit."

Steve told Dustin to quickly join them, showing him the same thing they discovered. Dustin cursed, both at the skin and the damaged cement block wall.

"Dustin. This is Lucas. Do you copy? Dustin?" Lucas's voice came from the radio as the three boys started to take out the buckets of meat and gasoline from the trunk.

"Well, well, Well, look who it is," Dustin replies.

Salem rolled his eyes. "Why do you hang around these kids?"

"He came to me." Steve went to explain.  They heard Dustin give Lucia their location, hearing how Lucas questioned that they both were there.

"All right, let's go." Steve closed the trunk, all three taking a bucket of meat and having gloves on.

"Just me there, stats. Over and out." Dustin told his friend.

"All right, so let me get this straight,"  Steve spoke. "You kept something you knew was probably dangerous to impress a girl who...who you just met?"

"All right, that's grossly oversimplifying things," Dustin tried to explain.

"I mean, why would a girl like some nasty slug anyway?"

"I agree with Steve, especially is said gross slug can kill her." Salem pointed out, growing more rare meat on the ground.

"An interdenominational slug? Because it's awesome."

"An interdenominational slug that could and would kill her."

"Well, even if she thought it was cool, which she didn't, I...I just...I don't know. I feel like you're trying way too hard."
