She pauses at the sound of my voice and her shoulders immediately tense. Maybe I should let her walk away. Because she is not at all comfortable around me. I wonder why she is in front of my house. It almost feels surreal. I cannot believe she is actually here. I just thought about her and here she appears out of thin air. I know it is not possible to appear out of thin air but here she is. She keeps staring at me and I smile to myself.
She diverts her gaze to her feet. This is twice she fails to make eye contact with me. Reminds me of that childhood friend I had. Even their posture is similar. I think it will be same if they are of the same age. She just checks me out and I am totally turned on. Now she is embarrassed and she looks so cute. Maybe I should step closer to her to help her have a better look. Thank God I decided to leave my shirt behind. She again looks up at my eyes.
"You run?" I ask. It is probably the most obvious question in the world right now.
"Yes Dae, I run in the morning," La replies.
"You know; you look like someone I know for a long time."
"I think that's a very old dialogue."
"Females always think we lie even when we're completely honest."
"I'm pretty sure we never met before."
"Hmm. Then maybe I confuse you with someone else."
"I think I shall head back to my home now."
I hold out my water bottle and she flinches again. This girl has some serious trust issues. I see her holding her water bottle and it is completely empty. I know how much water drains from our body when we run. If she does not drink she will probably faint on the way. After I insist again, she takes the bottle from me. I notice her neck as she tilts her head back to down half of the bottle. Her neck is beautiful and I immediately have some dirty imaginations.
She downs several gulps more before she gives it back to me. There is only a little left at the bottom so I down the rest of it. She cannot help staring at me. I know I am a good looking guy but somehow it feels worth it more than any other time at this moment. I ask her to give me her water bottle. I fill both of our bottles up from the house, come back and hand it to her. We both decide that I will run with her to her home. Thank God she showed up.
