Annabeth's POV.

I looked down at the world below me as we went up and down and around on the Ferris wheel. Percy's arm was draped around my shoulders. I kept spitting out random facts (the usual.) "Did you know that the first Ferris wheel was created at the World's Fair in St.Louis 1904!" I said excitingly. He threw his head back and laughed. "What do you think Wise Girl?" He raised his eyebrow. "I'm going to take that as a no." I put the emphasis on no. "Ah Wise Girl prevails again." He said and leaned back.

The ride ended and we stepped off. "Oh! Oh! Oh! lets go play that game! Please! Please! Please!" Percy pleaded/ screamed in my ear. "Sure, honey! Lets go!" I yelled with equal enthusiasm.

The game was the one that's computerized, meaning there is nobody there. You use water guns to squirt down these plastic clowns. Percy put in a dollar and we started. Percy, being a cheater, just because he is a son of Poseidon or Neptune was winning. His water gun blasted with such force I felt bad for the little clowns.

Such a cheater I know. I did the thing any friend would do I sprayed him with the water gun. He was took by shock. Splash! Before I knew it I was covered in water. He barely even used his gun! "Cheater!" I accused him.

It went on like that until our time stopped. I shook my head. He, of course was dry. He could dry himself on will, and he just did it, again. "Will you dry me?" I held out my arms to show him I was still wet and gave him my puppy dog eyes. "No, how about I stay dry and you stay wet." He smiled like the problem was solved. I stared him down. But he still shookhis head left to right. "No, no, nope!" He was still smiling. "Meanie", I commented.

We walked through the gates and into the car. "Why is Annabeth soaking wet", Hazel asked. "Long story don't ask",I replied. "Okay", Frank said uneasy from the driver's seat. Percy wrapped his arms around me and they warmed me to the core.
