Oh I forgot to mention, Vitaly hates Aubrey. After knowing Aubrey has cheated on me multiple times and that she was using me, he was enraged.

"No, it was Elle."

"Oh- ohhh good I guess?"

He mumbled.

"I would like to meet her once."

He said. I smiled as I got an idea.

"You'll be showing up at the party tomorrow right?"

"If you are going, then I am too."

"Good."

He looked at me raising his eyebrows.

As we both settled inside the car, I started driving.

"So, what are you upto?"

"I'll tell you later by the way, I missed you much bro."

I said with enthusiasm.

"God! I missed you too! Dad purposely gives me so much work to do!"

"I know, but now that you are here, It's gonna be all good."

I assured him.

"I am going to bring Elle to the party. So, you both can meet there."

I said, he immediately looked at me.

"Woah, I am so ready and excited!"

"Yeah."

I chuckled. I dropped Vitaly at his place and drived back to my home. Vitaly said he would stay at his own house for a few days, then he would come over at my place.

How do I ask Elle to accompany me to the business party?

The next day I was at work, when Elle came in my cabin for some work.

"Uh Miss Miller, wait."

Maybe if I talk to her formally she might agree to come.

"Are you free tonight?"

"Oh, yeah I am.."

"Actually, I have to attend a business party today and I was wondering if you could accompany me."

"Oh.."

She thought about it for a minute.

"Are you sure you want me to go with you?"

She asked doubtfully.

Why would she ask that?

"Yeah ofcourse."

"Okay then. I'll go with you."

She said while pressing her lips into a thin line and nodding.

Great. Now there's something more.

"Uh I have bought you a dress, I hope you wear it to the party."

I said and handed her the box of clothes. Her eyes widened but eventually nodded and took it.

"I expect you to be ready by 6pm. I'll be there to pick you up."

"Okay sir."

She said in her usual silent voice. Her voice is so serious when at work. It annoys me.

She doesn't have to be so professional.

After all, I'm her childhood friend. Can't she chill?

But at the same time it feels good.

"Don't worry about make up and hair, leave it to me."

I said and mentally smirked.

She was again shocked but hid it well. Then she left my cabin.

I'm very excited to see Elle in that red dress.
