June 25, 1988

Lindsey wrapped his arms around Stevie's midsection. It was Sunday and they usually spent all of Sunday as a family relaxing in the king sized bed in their pajamas. All three of them. But when he put his hand on her belly he sat up and cocked an eyebrow. His hand felt around for a while and then he moved the blanket off of her shoulder and peered over her side.

"Stephanie." He says loudly.

"Mmm," She groans tugging at the blankets to bring them back up over her shoulders.

"Stephanie." He repeats.

"Sunday Linds...sleep."

"Stephanie."

"What?" She asks.

"What the fuck is this? This wasn't here yesterday."

"What the fuck is what?" She asks.

"Your stomach Steph."

"My what?" She asks.

"Look at your stomach." She obeys and then she gasps and shoots upright in bed, her hand coming down to cradle the bump that had seemingly formed overnight.

"Something you want to tell me Stevie?" Lindsey asks.

"I...yeah....you were right." She bites her lip.

"I was what?"

"In Hawaii...when I mounted you. You didn't want to have sex because we were having that fight and I told you I didn't want any kids and we didn't have any form of protection...I'm 12 weeks." She places her head in her hands and she just starts crying.

"Oh Steph." He wraps his arms around her.

"I've been trying to ignore it. Pretend like it wasn't there because I wasn't having any symptoms but now I can't do that can I?" She asks.

"Is it bad that I'm happy about this?" Lindsey asks.

"No, because you really wanted another baby. Is it bad that I am not excited about this."

He doesn't answer he just rubs her back.

"What are we going to do?" Lindsey asks.

"We're going to have the fucking baby." She shrugs.

"You need to tell your family Steph." Lindsey tells her.

"And you need to tell yours." She sniffles.

"I can call mine, why don't you invite your family over for dinner tomorrow night?" Lindsey inquires.

Stevie just nods and wipes at her eyes.

"Alright, lets go wake peanut up, make some breakfast and then get back in bed and watch some movies alright." Lindsey asks.

"No." She shakes her head.

"No?" asks

"I want to take Will to the park." Stevie states.

"So invite your family over for a cookout tonight. I'll make burgers." Lindsey states.

"I'll do that now, you go get William." Stevie suggests.

"I will." He nods kissing her and climbing out of the bed. But as soon as he's out of her eyesight he does a happy dance down the hall because they were going to have another baby.

Stevie, pulled her hair into a bun on the top of her head, and then she managed to fit into a pair of dark wash jeans. She had to do the hair tie trick where she looped the ponytail through the Botton and the Botton hole, but she managed. And then she grabbed a wrap top. It was a maternity wrap top that she bought right before she had William and she never got a chance to wear it. It was light blue with pink flowers on it. It was chiffon the sleeves were bell sleeves, but they were three quarter length and it was tied right over her bump. She put on a pair of brown T-strap sandal high heels and then she made her way downstairs to work on breakfast.

"You hid it well." Lindsey smirks.

"Of course I did. I hid it with William until I was like 20-ish weeks." She shrugs.

"Mama juice please." The now three year old says. Stevie turns her head to the mini curly-haired brunette.

"Of course William, thank you for asking nicely." Stevie smiles kissing his head and going to get him some apple juice.

After a breakfast of waffles, Stevie was in charge of cleaning up the sticky little boy and getting him ready for the day, while Lindsey got himself ready. She dressed him in a pair of light blue, yellow and white plaid shorts. The top she chose was an orange henley shirt but it had a breast pocket that was the same plaid as the shorts. It had been a set and came together so while she didn't necessarily like the color pallet, orange, yellow, and blue, she thought it was a cute outfit.

The Kingdom held enough respect for Stevie and Lindsey that though they were photographed, they were left alone for the whole day. Stevie pushed him on the swing, Lindsey caught him on the slide and then they ended their afternoon with ice-cream. Stevie carrying him back to the car. Those photographs she did wave and pose for because she liked being photographed with her son.

His privacy was the most important thing to her, but she also knew that mom's don't end up in  a lot of the pictures. They're the ones that are taking the pictures. She noticed that first hand when she started doing the yearly photo-release with People Magazine so if there was a chance for her to get a picture with her son she was going to take it. Because legally as the queen, she had the rights to those pictures

The cook-out had gone smoothly as they were just chilling around a bonfire later that night. Lori and Chris were huddled up on a bench. Barbara was by herself, and Lindsey was manning the fire. Stevie had William sleeping on her and she was rocking gently back and forth and as she started thinking about it she started tearing up.

"Teedee what's wrong?" Barbara asks.

"This is the closest they're probably ever going to be." She looks to Lindsey as she says it and he nods.

"Who, what are you talking about?" Lori inquires.

"Lindsey and I have something we want to tell you." Stevie smiles, the tears slowly disappearing.

"Do you want me to do it?" Lindsey asks.

"No, I can do it...I'm pregnant."

Gasps were heard around the room and then Barbara cooed. "Oh how wonderful. having two baby's is a joy."

"Was it?" Stevie cocks an eyebrow.

"Well, you are seven years older than Christopher. When he was born you turned into this little mom."

"I did?" She cocks an eyebrow.

"Oh yeah, you wanted to help me feed him. You wanted to help me change his diaper. Then he peed on you and that was that. But you always wanted to hold him and cuddle with him. Kiss his forehead." Barbara shrugs.

"You peed on her?" Lori laughs looking at Christopher.

"Lori, little boys tend to aim." Barbara states.

"I know. I changed William's diaper once and it went sky high." She makes a disgusted face.

"Well I'm happy for you, Congrats." Chris smiles.

"When are you guys going to have a baby." Stevie looks at her brother and sister-in-law.

"Well, we're trying. But we just haven't had any luck." Lori shrugs.

"It'll happen." Stevie smiles, "And I hate to be a Debbie downer, but I have to get little man to bed and I think I'm going to hit the hay as well. I'm exhausted."
