Pagkatapos naming kumain agad akong naghugas ng pinggan when he suddenly hug me from my back.

"Naghuhugas ako, ano ba nakikiliti ako my dear," sabi ko at iniiwas ko ang aking leeg na hinahalikhalikan niya.

He leave me at pumunta siya sa bed ko at humiga.

After ko maghugas agad akong umupo sa tabi niya habang siya'y nakahiga. Di ko namalayan na nakahiga na pala siya sa legs ko.

"Uhm, gabi na di ka pa uuwi. Baka may mangyaring masama sayo sa daan," I utterred in worriness kahit alam ko na ang nangyayari sa kanya.

"Uhmm, dito muna ako matutulog," sabi niya at ipinatong ang kanyang ulo sa dibdib ko.

"My dear kantahan mo nga ako," I uttered habang hinihimas-himas ang kanyang buhok.

"Sure," he smiled.

Nagsimula siyang kumanta.

Hindi ko alam ang nangyari pero napaiyak ako sa lyrics ng kanta and how he sung it to me. Naaalala ko kasi ang mga sinasabi ng kanyang ama sa akin. Feeling ko ang selfish ko dahil hahayaan ko lang siyang maghirap. Feeling ko ang sama ng aking pamilya dahil hinihingian pala siya ng pera.

I saw him smiling widely and natulog na nakasanday sa dibdib ko.
