"Is this guy curious or something else?" I thought quietly in my head.

We fell into silence, and I couldn't help but study how he looked. "He would probably make a good model." I thought as I looked at him.

He had very pale skin and his body shape was definitely very straight. I then realized I had been staring at him for a while.

I shook my head, and sighed looking at the teacher as the class started.

I felt like I probably made him uncomfortable by staring at him. I always had a problem with staring at people and thinking of how to draw them. It really inspires me seeing how other dresses, sat, and looked.

I zoned out slightly and started sketching him in my book, and after a little bit I zoned back in to the bell.

"One more thing before you all get going, please keep in mind who ever you sat next to will be your partner on future projects." Mrs. Lena stated as I gathered my things.

The class flew by quickly, luckily when class began the guy stopped his staring.

I quickly gathered my things and started heading out. As I was about to leave the building I heard my name called.

"M-Markus?" I heard the same guy that sat next to me ask waking up next to me.

"Uh, yeah?" I asked, confused as to why this guy was going out of his way to talk to me.

"I was wondering what was your major before art?" He curiously asked me, as he opened the door for me.

"Um, I was an English Major." I answered walking out, him following.

"Oh nice! So you're a writer who likes art?" He asked.

"I-I mean I love English and art the same, and I see writing as an art as well." I explained looking down at him, seeing a smile on his face. He had a really nice smile.

"That's cool." He said kindly.

"What's your name again?" I asked quietly.

"Oh, Jayden, that's the name." Jayden explained.

I nodded. "Why exactly did you want to ask me that?" I asked curiously.

"Oh! Well I wanted to get to know you, I also wanted to apologize." Jayden said with a nervous laugh.

"What did you want to apologize for?" I asked.

"For staring at you. I have a problem with staring at others, because I see everyone as a possible inspiration for drawing. That probably sounds really creepy." He said, looking down rubbing the back of his neck.

"It does, but you don't seem creepy, but then again I don't really know you." I said quietly.

"Oh, yeah sorry, I just thought you would be interesting to talk to, but I asked you a question, why don't you ask me." Jayden said as we walked down the stairs.

Markus looked at me for a moment. "What is interesting enough about me, for you to want to talk to me?" He asked.

I was caught off guard by that. It was a if this guy really was confused on why someone would talk to him.

"Well, you're very quiet, and I always feel that the quiet ones always have something to say, but won't say anything." I explained, causing him to give me a strange look. I couldn't help but feel I said something wrong.

Markus opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by a horn honk.

"Jayden!" I heard Skyler yell from the car, making me sigh.

"Looks like my ride's here, but hey we can continue this conversation next week?" I asked unsure if that was okay.

"If you want." Markus shrugged, heading his own way.

I sighed and got in the Jeep with Sky, and she seemed to smile a lot more than this morning.

"What?" I asked her and she laughed.

"That's the first time I've seen you make a friend already." Sky teased pushing my shoulder. "Also the first time I've seen you actually talk to a guy." She explained.

"I've talked to guys before, they just weren't.." I tried to think of a word to describe it.

"They weren't nice to anyone." Sky said with a sigh.

"Exactly!" I agreed.

"Well either way, I'm glad, you need more friends than me." Sky declared.

"Yeah, yeah." I said, pushing her arm. "Just drive."
