James walks through the doors of the meeting room taken place which Dumbledore was talking about James's and your death, and how you and James don't have a will, so he'll take care of Harrys and fawns accommodations
"I died? I didn't know this someone should have told me." James says making everyone look over as he sits down in his seat "Now I don't know why you think I died, my parents did they died protecting my son as I was out with my daughter and wife, also here is a copy of mine and my wife's will I grabbed a copy this morning before the meeting and before someone sealed it, so it would seem like we don't have one." James says as he got the will passed around and everyone read it
Eventually, it got to Dumbledore and he read it
"Also someone left a letter to Harry from us that we didn't write in our manor, saying we're sorry if we die during this war and how much we love him and blah blah blah something about you'll do great things in the future, it seems someone planned our death and to raise my son for some reason. And I think that person is the same person who sent someone to my house 5 minutes after I supposedly die, to take my son and daughter, not to the people who are in our will, so Dumbledore wanna explain why you sent Hagrid to collect my son and daughter?" James says as he frowns at him feeling so angry
After the meeting, Lucius ran and caught up with James as he was leaving
"Is Fawn ok?" Lucius asks and James nods
"She was with us, we took her trick or treating got her lots of candy, she napped at Lily evans place as me and y/n went out on a date, she's fine." James says and Lucius nods
"And how's y/n?" Lucius asks and James sighs
"Upset, my parents are dead, our son was almost kidnapped, later in the night aurors tried to take Sirius and Remus in, saying they got us killed, got confused when I opened the door and I told them Remus and Sirius weren't even in the wizarding world but the muggle world, we aren't doing well right now." James says and Lucius nods
"Well I could watch fawn." He says and James sighs
"Sorry but we have a death in the family, and we need to hide my son because of how he defeated you know who." James says and Lucius nods as James walks off to just go home 'No matter what we'll always have to deal with Lucius so we've just gotten used to him, no matter how much we don't like him.'
