A deep crease formed on the vampire's forehead.

"The only thing you're doing is justifying your weakness and selfishness, saying that you didn't want to let him down when in fact you thought only about yourself!!! Trying to blame me for being a lame excuse of a man!!!

Edward pressed his lips together in a thin line, clenching his fists as he heard the other's words.

"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO..." he growled.

"YOU'RE NOT ASHAMED OF YOURSELF?!" Cedric yelled back, his voice echoing like thunder, making the vampires flinch and cringe as they saw his aura of light shine brighter "AFTER ALL THAT HAPPENED, AFTER ALL THE PROMISES YOU GAVE TO HIM, AFTER HE BELIEVED YOU, YOU REJECT AND BREAK HIM?!!! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!!!"

Edward didn't respond, startled to feel Cedric's anger at him reverberating inside him; the other vampires, in turn, clung to their mates with the exception of Esme who broke away from Carlisle's touch, she keeping an eye out for their conversation, her hand on her chest.

"What's your problem?!!!" Cedric repeated weakly, his tearful face now to look away for a few seconds.

Everyone was silent, watching Cedric's light dim as if he were draining his energy.

"Do you know what hurts me the most?" he said, looking back at the vampire "It's just that in the end, you're right. This is my fault!!!"

Cedric approached.

"It's my fault for not being strong enough... For not fighting and standing by Harry's side. Of having had a life at the cost of the sacrifice he made, of taking care of me until the end when I promised I would take care of him. And mainly..."

Cedric looked at him remorsefully, a silvery tear running down his cheek.

"It's my fault for having helped bring you two together."

"What..." Edward whispered, feeling off-kilter when he heard that "What are you talking about?!"

"I approached you two thinking it would be the best, that I would be fulfilling the promise I made... But I was wrong! I messed up and part of this is my entire fault!!!"

The rest of the Cullens remained motionless as they watched Cedric return no longer to Edward but to one of them.

Alice's eyes widened as she was stared at by the spirit, gray eyes filled with serenity and sadness connected with hers.

"I tried several times to get in touch... But the only way I could was through the most sensitive person under this roof, the one who was most in tune with the Beyond." he said looking at Alice "Your powers were suppressed, but I still tried my best for you to see what is necessary and important these last months. To alert you all, so Edward would know what he needed to know!"

The little seer gasped, feeling shaky with the realization of what she'd just heard.

"My visions... You..." she whispered as she looked at the spirit "It was you who sent me these visions until now?"

Cedric nodded.

'Edward!!!', Alice thought as she looked at her brother, knowing that he would hear her just as she thought of her first vision of Harry 'Edward, this explains everything!!!'.

Edward then reviewed through his sister's mind the vision she had had at the time when he was in denial with his feelings, the vision that showed Harry and him together in the meadow, declaring the love they felt/would feel for each other, the a vision that took him out of his inertia towards the wizard.
