I forgive everyone for everything.
I don't remember a day you weren't smiling.
The first time we met to now you always smiled, as if nothing in this world had wronged you. I used to hate you for that but as we grew I realized I envied you and that ridiculous smile, I envy you as a whole.
"Vincent! Help me!" My head started to spin with how hard he was shaking me, grabbing his wrist I stop him giving him my famous dry stare.
Well, it was famous to him more than others.
"I can't help you if my brain is flipped upside down because of how hard your shaking me." He gave a sheepish smile while I took his note book and read through it.
"Dude its basic math come on," he leaned closer his body against my shoulder while I wrote the problem out solving it while explaining the problem all together.
By the time the bell rung he was leaned against the wall by the vending machine an orange soda in his left hand, I swept down and grabbed the sprite from the cubby.
"So, big games coming up coach gonna bench you?" He shrugged a look flashing over his face before he forced another dazzling smile.
"I, uh, quite the team." The shaken up soda bubbled up and ran down my hands while I stood shocked, Liam Myers the star Quarter back of West field high school quite the football team?
To say the least I was shocked.
"Why?" Was the only word I could muster out, I shook the sticky sweet drink off my hand before I wiped my hand on my leg. He shrugged sipping on his soda, we started walking down the hall.
"Stuff happened, hey, isn't that Mitch from the cheer team?" He pointed to a box dyed red head, I squinted taking her face in and to my utter surprise I recognized her.
"Yeah, why?" He caps his soda and shoves it into my arms, I roll my eyes and follow him. "Hey Mitch!"
The girl waved goodbye to the other girl she was talking to before she turned around, she narrowed her eyes as she took us in. "No way," she breathed,"are you- Myers?!"
She hugged him, kissing his cheek she let go and acted like an aunt seeing her nephew for the first time. She was probably gonna say something along the lines of 'look how big you got!'
"Wow you got muscle, what am I saying? Course you do you played football since eighth grade." He coughed when her hands fanned over his chest, she winked at me and I shook my head.
"Mitch, stop trying he knows." She sighs and leans against the lockers, she gives me her full attention.
"Vincent baby let this poor lesbian have some fun." Rolling my eyes I let out a soft chuckle. "Been awhile whatcha been up to babes?" Her eyes went between us and Liam shrugged.
"Not much-" I cut him off, still a little salty about him quitting the team I turned to him with narrowed eyes.
"-my ass, Myers here quite the team now I gotta deal with the coach and his relentless bickering, BY MYSELF." She chuckled, she didn't seem surprised.
"Yeah I heard, I was in the office." Her eyes watched Liam as if she knew something, he looked down. "Course, lets keep this between us Michelle." She sighed and pushed off the locker, she grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder.
