And before Jeongwoo could protest more, there they are inside of a diner - seated on a table and waiting for their orders.

"Woo i need to pee-"

"Then pee, I don't need to know." Jeongwoo cut her off, the kid just shrugged and made her way to the restrooms.

Awkward...

"Jeongwoo stop being a bitch and talk to me." Haruto uttered

"Wow I'm a bitch now?"

"No wait. Just stop being a child and talk to me properly."

Jeongwoo mindlessly nodded.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were the one I was texting with and you know.. please uh.. forget everything I've said in the chat."

"That's it?"

"Is there anything else- oh btw! Sorry I got your phone confiscated but you're at fault too though."

"..."

Awkward.......

"By the way, if you don't mind, why are you with a child did you- you know..."

"Hep, stop right there, N O i did not kidnap no one plus that kid suddenly showed up crying saying she's lost."

"What're you two talking about?" The kid chimed, she just came back from the restrooms

"Nothing. You- you sure did take your time there."

"Haha yes, let's eat now!" Ye-eun changes the topic and adverted her eyes at the waiter who was just done putting the foods on the table.

While eating, Jeongwoo can't help but notice the staring from the older, he just brushed them off but something is really bugging him, he can't quite put his hands on it.

"Thanks for the food. I'll pay you back promise." Jeongwoo said, Haruto and Ye-eun tailing behind him.

If you're wondering, they're finding a mall guard so they can take Ye-eun back from his parents.

"Yeah no problem, the money i used is yours." Haruto said, showing the others wallet

"Haha yeah- WHAT!" before they could bicker again.

"Ye-eun!"

"Dad!" The kid ran towards a man, probably in his 20s in Jeongwoo's opinion.

"Sweetie are you alright? Don't get lost like that again huh? We're really worried." The dad said, how sweet - father and daughter reuniting.

"I'm fine dad! These oppa's here accompanied me for a while." Ye-eun said, pointing at him and Haruto's direction.

They waved their hands and bow, "thank you for taking care of her, may I know what're your name?"

"I'm Jeongwoo, Park Jeongwoo. It's fine sir, your child is very nice."

"Watanabe Haruto." he said and smiled.

"I'm Lee Ahn, I own a arcade near here, you can visit them anytime, it's for free."

"Really sir! We appreciate it, but I think we need to go now because our friends are waiting for us." Jeongwoo lied.

"Yeah sure, thank you again." The dad once bowed.

Both Jeongwoo and Haruto looked at one another the smile in 5heir face disappeared.

After a lot of convincing Jeongwoo finally went to his beloved home with Haruto, his roommate.

that same day, his friends payed them a visit, Yedam apologies at Jeongwoo for betraying him and just them asking how they are now that both of them new.

Actually it was still awkward, but it is bearable.

Yedam, Doyoung, Junkyu and the other two is now seated at their apartment, watching a thriller movie they spend a hour finding.

Earlier Hyunsuk excused himself because he have to pick his niece from school.

Lot of things happened today, Jeongwoo thought.

But at least he finally sort his misunderstanding with his roommate, Haruto - hopefully.

fun fact: i almost drop this book but i didn't.

i want to thank everyone for the reading and engaging with this book, it was really fun writing this - even though this is not what i intended to do.

i really don't want to this to end like this. everything feels rushed so i'll try to write a sequel. probably the things that are going to happen with them in the future - but that's in another book.
