this afternoon while the girls and brady were finishing school i had a private for a solo but i didn't know when i'd be competing the solo

we were told to wear red aldc cropped sweatshirts and black leggings so that's what i wore with my hair in a low bun with a twist  ( cause pressley wanted to match )

finally when everyone got here we went in for pyramid lining up with me between my sister and lily

she talked about how disappointed and embarrassed she was about our lost before getting to the pyramid

once she got passed the second row is when i noticed how weird the pyramid looked since there was two headshots on the top

"yolanda come here." abby called handing her party hats to give to the moms and she called ellie to hand out noise makers to us

"all right start blowing those horns, ladies start stomping with your feet." abby said as we put the noise makers in our mouths and did so and brady went over getting ready to reveal the headshots

"now sharing the top spot on the pyramid with perfect 300 is..." she trailed off twisting the confetti cannon "lilianna and destiny!" she said as the headshots were shown and we all cheered

i turned to her squeezing her in a hug and we played in the confetti

then we got back to pyramid "ok we're going to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to attend Fierce Dance Challenge."

the group was called body and soul and it was jazz and brady wasn't in it so i'm exchange he got a solo along with lily

"destiny you also have a solo, it's called empire. you may not have started the empire from before you but it looks like your starting one now. let's hope they can keep up." she told me and i nodded already knowing what my solo was

"lily, destiny and brady. 10, 14 and 14. you will be competing for the overall high score solo." she told us

"we have one duet. our big and only winners lily and destiny." she told us and we screamed turning to each other for a hug "it's called because of you cause it probably will be because of the two of you we'll win nationals." she told us and we smiled

we started the group and i felt bad that brady had to sit out

this routine didn't have a theme or story but it was mature and i loved doing mature dances which i only got with the senior team but they're all in new york for a convention thing

abby told me i was put center cause since i was the oldest and danced the most matured

as i marked the dance michelle walked in and i heard studio 19 was gonna be there with like 14 numbers "destiny come here." abby called and i walked over

"destiny you better win this week. i'm not losing to that studio." she told me "i will." i nodded with a smirk and she nodded

soon abby had left the studio claiming she didn't like the group and the music so gianna called lily and i to start learning our duet which was really good and pretty
