"we're going south. the rest of you coming or what?" Kenji walked away with his arm around Darius. i went with them with no hesitation, the only reason i'm still alive it because of Darius. partly Kenji too but that doesn't matter. "i'm in." Brooklynn said as she walked to us "we're in too" Yaz said while speaking for Sammy and putting her arm around her.

i narrowed my eyebrows while looking at them in a sad manner, then i saw Sammy tuck something in her pocket that was already in there. i was going to say something but that was just going to make things worse with Yaz so i decided to not say anything.

we were walking south while ben yelled unexpectedly scaring every one "oh sorry, i stepped on a twig" "ugh come on man." "you done gave me a heart attack!" "i should step on you."

"it's okay ben we're all on edge right now" i defended him "and lost. i thought you i have been here before plenty of times." Yasmina turned to me  "yeah but not to the point where i know every inch of this damn place." i turned around not facing her anymore "well, we've been out here for a while now. Darius are you sure we're still headed towards the park?" Sammy spoke "we'd be sure if i still had my phone. because it had a GPS, a compass app, and it's also A PHONE" "Sammy didn't steal your phone! no one stole your phone! can we please just stop talking about the phone?" "you guys! could you all yell at each other quieter please?" ben stopped them "my fellow campers, chill! what we need here is someone who can make the hard call on what to do next" at this point i'm not even listening to anything Kenji is saying and just looking at Yaz and Sammy. ever since the apology she's been acting so different around her, she used to be so annoyed of her. i mean i was too and i still think she's being annoying with this whole phone thing. but like all of her concern and attention is completely on Sammy, not that i'd want that on me it's just she's just so focused on Sammy. when I was her first friend in camp, and she's almost completely forgotten about me.

i snapped out of it when Darius shouted out "i know where we are! we're by the carnotaurus paddock!" he started running and all of us followed "i remember the fence." walking through tall grass just to see "the broken, ripped-down fence." walking towards the visitors center was quiet. until we found a broken gyroshpere and a dead ankylosaurus "predators don't kill pray and then leave them without feeding" "great now we know that this 'dinosaur' is sick in th-" i was interrupted by a low growl close by we all ran the other way as soon as we heard it. i hid behind a bush with Yasmina and Brooklynn while waiting for what was to come out.

when it did it made a noise scaring the three of us and Yaz put her arm around me pulling me closer gasping for air and terrified i held on to her too. that was, until Ben spoke "bumpy!" he ran towards the dinosaur

we all came out and walked over to Ben "how do you even know that's the same dinosaur?" Kenji asked in annoyance "her big head bump. Dr. wu said she's asymmetrical! and he's wrong that it's bad, and so what is she's asymmetrical? There's nothing wrong with being different or bumpy. or getting tired after reading an overly thrilling book! and maybe if her parents listen to her she wouldn't have gotten attacked!" he ranted "are we still talking about the dinosaur? feels like we're still not talking about the dinosaur." i walked over to bumpy and started petting her "aw she's so cute" i immediately fell in love "as fun as this reunion is shouldn't we keep moving south?" Kenji pointed out "im not Spending another hour walking through the jungle hoping that we don't run into that Imdominus. we need a new plan." Brooklynn spoke up "uh yeah, obviously we need a new plan. so i had Darius to figure out a new one, lay it on us bro" Kenji agreed "kenji. you can't keep putting everything on Darius, face it, we're all lost and have no idea what to do" i stepped closer to him "wait. isn't Dr. Wu's genetics lab near here?" "never mind then." "you guys went on the tour does this look familiar?" "yeah it actually does. i think it might be that way" Sammy pointed in a detection "greattt now let's go. that dinosaur could be anywhere right now" i said while walking in the direction Sammy had pointed to while grabbing Darius hand since he looked like he was zoning out and once he had snapped out of it i let go.

"what about bumpy?" ben asked "she's a dinosaur bro, she belongs out here in the wild" Kenji replied "and she'll slow us down, we gotta go, now." Yaz added "they're is right, we have to leave her behind." i walked closer to her

walking through the jungle again i was beside Yasmina while Sammy was behind us. it felt nice that Sammy wasn't right beside us, it was just us two. she kind of ran to a big leaf that was in the way and held it up for me, then she winked and looked at Brooklynn as if she was trying to tell me something with her eyes, when Sammy passed Brooklynn was walking closer and when she did Yasmina lowered the leaf and left go so it shot back up in Brooklynns face. it made us laugh as we walked away and Sammy was now in front of us. Kenji speed walked past us "let's pick it up people!" "wait. guys where's ben?" Darius shouted we looked around for him just to see him pulling something though the bushes and it turned out to be bumpy.

Darius cleared his throat and he quickly shoved her back in the bushes "hey! how's it hangin'...dudes?"
"ben, are you hiding bumpy in that bush?" Darius asked and Bumpy started bellowing "nope. that could be anything. the jungle make a all sorts of weird noises" as soon as he said that Bumpy jumped out of the bushes making ben fall "how did she get here?" "ben i'm sorry but we don't have time for this! she can't keep up." i explained "she can move faster ankylosauruses run fast right Darius?"
"when theyr-" "ben she can't stay with us. she's only going to slow us down." i didn't let Darius finish his sentence.

she then threw herself on the ground and fell asleep "woah yeah total speed demon. say goodbye ben" Kenji said and then we all started to walk away "no! you guys say hello because she's coming with us so..there!" "ben. you're not thinking this though, she's literally asleep right now!" i yelled "then we'll put her in the van!" "ben what van." "that one!"
