CHAPTER 5: TRUTH OR DARE

"Where did you go Wendy?. Kanina pa kita hinahanap" abiel asked. Hindi ko siya pinansin at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad para umakyat.

Nagtungo ako sa guest room at nagsandal sa pinto nito pagkapasok.

"Did he just-? Ackk" kinikilig ako sa loob looban ko pero hindi ko alam kung assuming lang ako.

Why do a man kiss a woman? That's the question I've been asking myself, I don't know and I can't think of it well. He didn't do it for fun right?

That Matthew!!! He told them !!!! How am i going to face everybody 😭

Habang tulala ako dito sa loob may kumatok. Hinagod ko ang buhok ko saka tumayo at binuksan ang pinto.

"The party is about to start" Julian said.

"Sige, hintayin niyo ako magreretouch lang sandali."Sabi ko saka hinintay na umalis si Julian at pumasok muli sa kwarto.

Pinakalma ko ang sarili ko saka humarap sa salamin.

"Don't you ever feel awkward" may diin kong sabi sa sarili ko. Hinayo ko ang buhok ko at saka lumabas.

Bumaba ako ng maayos na para bang walang nangyari kanina. Hindi ko kailangang isipin 'yon dahil wala naman yon sakin.

Wala ba talaga? Medyo kinikilig ako dun

Grr.... NVM. Just don't think about it.

I feel nervous going outside and the fact that I will be seeing him throughout the night. I JUST SAID THAT! And damn! He's looking at me. Not just looking at me, STARING AT ME!!!!!

I looked away and then Julian came to me. I smiled and then grabbed his arms. Nagtungo kami sa may bandang pool area dahil nagsasalita na ang emcee.

"Now let's raise a toast for this beautiful birthday girl! Cheers!!!" Sigaw ng emcee saka nagsiinom ang lahat.

Sa party na ito ay makikita mo talaga ang mga mayayamang businessman sa buong Pilipinas. Mostly ay hindi ko kilala because my mom is a Flight Attendant and my father is a member of an Army. We don't have any business.

But my father is investing into Therese's father company that's why we barely go to parties.

"Do you have anything to say Ms. Therese?" Tanong ng emcee. Lumapit si Therese sa may emcee at kinuha ang mic.

"Are you guys having fun?" Everyone shouted yes! " That's good to hear, I just want to say thank you for coming on this special day. To my family, friends, and  everyone else here. This toast is for y'all" itinaas niya ang wine glass niya at saka iyon ininom.

"Now, let the party begin!!!!" Sigaw ng emcee. Lumakas ang music at nagsisayawan na lahat. Ako naman ay hinila ni Abiel papunta sa isang grupo na kung saan nandoon silang lahat and specially YMIR!!!!

"Guys Let's start the game!!!!" Masayang sigaw ni Abiel. "Upo ka doon hindi ka kasya dito" sabay turo sa pwesto nina Ymir. Binalaan ko siya gamit ang tingin ko pero mukhang planado niya ito.

How dare you smile at me Abiel!??? It's not funny, if you only knew 😭

"Okay, fine" no choice kaya tumabi ako doon. It's uncomfortable, really uncomfortable. I can see many people have their eyes on me now and I hate it so much. I don't like attention like this. It feels like all their eyeballs are stuck on us.

I stare at Abiel at itinaas ang isa kong kilay. I just sent the message to her. She'll be dead to me.

"Okay now, where's the bottle?" Julian asked saka hinanap ang bote sa side niya. We did the same to help him find it.
