A few minutes later the havan was replaced and ready, Ahaan signed Purab by nodding and he began his part. He yelled loudly and everyone frantically turned around to see Purab slowly descending to the ground with one hand on his chest and his eyes blinking erratically, they all rushed to his side extremely worried.
"KYA HUA PURAB BETA?!" Dadi asked greatly concerned for him-
Purab was hysterically laughing from the inside but he had to keep up his act so he stuttered, "D-Di-Dil H-Hea-Hear-t A-"
Ishqi: OH MY GOD!! Mujhe lagta hai issko heart attack araha hai!! Jaldi hospital leke chalo!! she said, kind of gotten the idea that he was faking it by the casual way Ahaan was standing.
DM: Heart attack?! Iss umar mein?!
Tara: Arrey DM! rare hai but impossible thodi na!! Chale jaldi!
Rhea: LEKIN HUMARI SHAADI?!
Ahaan: Rhea?! MERE BEST FRIEND KO DIL- I MEAN HEART ATTACK ARAHA HAI AUR TUMHE SHAADI KI PARHI HUI HAI?!!
Zayan: ARREY SAAB! RUKO EK MINUTE! MEIN DOCTOR HOUN MEIN CHECK KARTA HOUN!
"oh shit!" Tara whispered to Ahaan- "Yeh baat toh hum bhool hi gai!"
Before they could do anything to stop Zayan from checking Purab, he already had!
"OH MY GOD!!! HOSPITAL CHALO JALDI! ISSE ITNA SEVERE HEART ATTACK ARAHA KE PATA NAHI AAB YEH BAACHE GA YAH NAHI!!" Zayan said in a loud and serious tone to which all four who were aware that this was just an act got scared as well. "kahin Purab bhaiyya ko pressure & stress ki wajah se waqai mein toh..." Tara's voice trailed off as she worriedly bent down with Ahaan and Kartik to check if Purab was actually alright.
Purab who was still acting was now scared for his life, "bhaiyya yeh aap kya bol rahe ho!" Ishqi said-
Zayan: Sadly we've almost l- "NAHI!" Purab yelled as he sat up. "Me-Mein zinda houn!"
Savitri: Yeh toh bilkul theek hai!
Sania: Toh phir yeh heart attack waala drama kya tha?!
Manav: Purab beta! Saach saach baatao!
Purab was now on a verge of a panic attack, a doctor had just informed him that he'd almost died! "mujhe waqai mein toh koi problem nahi hai na?!" he thought to himself as he held his head-
"Purab?!" the elders asked once again-
Ahaan sensed his plan going downhill so he interfered and said, "Kuch nahi! Woh toh isse college time se dil ka koi problem hai...toh mujhe lagah heart attack agaya"..he paused and turned to face his horrified best friend, "aab theek hai na tu Purab?" Ahaan asked as he faked a smile-
"hm" Purab said- "thank-god" everyone said almost at once- They were all going to their spots when Purab whispered into Ahaan's ear, "yaar mein teri love story complete karne mein teri help kar raha houn aur tu ne mujhe hi dil ka mareez baana diya!"
Ahaan suppressed his laughter, "sorry yaar woh karna parha...warna toh hum almost pakre gaye the!"- "but I don't know ke Zayan ne jhoot kyun bola?"
They all sat in their spots when Manav said, "pandit ji, shaadi shuru kijiye" - The priest nodded and Tara got this as a signal for her part to begin, "EK SECOND!-
They all turned towards her with a questionable look on their faces, Rahul and Rhea were getting pretty annoyed by the senseless delays that were occurring in their marriages. "Gi saali sahiba" Rahul said as he sighed heavily- "Oh hello?! Kon saali sahiba?!" Tara replied-
Rahul: Arrey obviously tum!
Tara: Mein apki saali nahi houn...woh tohhhhh, she paused when a brilliant idea struck her mind and she utilized the situation to the best of her ability, "jab tak woh nahi aati mujhe inn saabko baaton mein laagai rakhna hai" she said to herself. "woh chodiye...hum yeh shaadi saab mehmaano ke bina thodi na kar sakte!"
Veer: Saab aa toh gaye hai!
Tara: Arrey nahi uncle ji...abhi Rahul...bhaiyya, she said replacing it with "jiju" ki ek special guest baaki hai..she grinned-
Rahul: Meri special guest? he asked utterly confused-
Jhanvi (Rahul's mom): Nahi Tara beta, tumhe koi galat fehmi hui hai! Saab toh aagaye hai!
Tara: Arrey! Aap itni jaldi bhool gaye! M-
"Mujhe!" they heard from behind them and all turned around to see a beautiful young girl walking in from the entrance. Rahul gasped and stood stunned for a moment, the girl walked towards them all and stood in the mandap.
Ishqi recognized her perfectly and couldn't think of a better time for her to make an entry while Rahul looked as if he would pass out right there and then. "Congrats Ishqi!" she said to Ishqi and then turned towards Rahul, "Hi Rahul" she smirked-
"Maira!?"
