Part 35- Light Moments

Purab: Hainnn?? Confuse mat kar seedha seedha bol-

Ahaan: Kya hi baatao tujhe yaar...

Purab: Ahaan, jo hua hai obviously woh hi baatao ge na, he said sarcastically- 

Ahaan: Bohot lambhi kahani hai..he said as an excuse, trying to avoid the topic completely- 

Purab: Toh mere paas bohot time hai, tu buss batana shuru kar-

Ahaan sighed and started narrating what had happened in the last few days, after each event narrated to him Purab had a different expression painted across his face. From pure confusion to utter shock, in a mere ten minutes he'd experienced it all. 

But the two most shocking things to him were that his sanskari and anti-love best friend had fallen in love with someone the complete opposite of him, and the second thing being that he had given up so easily! 

Purab: What the fudge yaar! Teri life toh puri film jaisi chal rahi hai- he said as a chuckle escaped his lips- 

Ahaan: Tell me about it! 

Purab: Lekin mujhe ek baat samaj mein nahi arahi...tu ne itni jaldi haar maan kaise li??! The Ahaan I know is very determined-

Ahaan: Mein kya karta yaar! Saab families ne faisla le liya tha aur apni kasam bhi-

Purab cut him out and started laughing, "Yeh koi filmy soap opera nahi chal raha hai! Aisi cheeze sirf serials mein acchi lagti hai, real life mein nahi!"

Purab: Mujhe toh yakeen nahi araha ke yeh tumhare reasons hai maan ne ke liye! Pehle toh pyaar karne jaisi gal- I mean kaam kiya aur phir uss ke liye stand bhi nahi liya! 

Ahaan: Toh mein kya karun yaar! Ishqi bhi family ke pressure ki wajah se maan gayi hai aur aab bohot der ho chuki hai, thodi der mein shaadi hai..he said disappointedly- 

Purab: Tu kuch mat kar buss apne pyaar ko kissi aur ke saath shaadi karte hue dekh aur "channa mereya channa mereya" gaa! 

Ahaan: Yaar tu kaisi baatein kar raha hai..

Purab: Mein? Mein kaisi baatein kar raha houn? Tu ne apni baatein sunni hai?!

Ahaan remained silent and Purab continued speaking, "Agar pyaar kar hi liya hai toh usse nibha bhi na! Koi bhi love story perfect nahi hoti and har love story mein problems aati hai but iss ka yeh matlab toh nahi hai ke tu haalat ko accept karle aur apna pyaar chod de! Tujhe fight karna bohot pasand hai na...toh aab kar! Chance hai toh back out kar raha hai!" 

Ahaan: But family? Woh saab log zidd parh arre hue hai...Bolna asaan hota hai but karna nahi...

Purab: Zidd pyaar se barhi nahi hoti! Aur tu ne Ishqi..bhabhi se pyaar karne se pehle yeh soocha tha ke asaan hoga yah mushkil? 

Ahaan: Haan but- 

Purab cut him off, "Waise yaar, meine kabhi soocha nahi tha ke tujhe pyaar hoga but yeh zaroor jaanta tha ke agar hua toh tu uss ke liye chaar panch murder toh kar hi dega..aur tu hai ke kuch filmy dialogues ke liye haar maan gaya!" 

Purab: Pyaar toh sacrifice kiya ke nahi kiya...usse chod! tu ne Rhea se shaadi karni ki haami kaise barh di????? Uss chipk- I mean ladki ke saath apni poori life kaise spend karega??? ATM card samaj ke use karegi tere ko! Tu yeh- 

"nahi hone de sakta..." Ahaan completed his sentence and Purab excitedly clapped, "YES!!! Finally!! Mere mahaan best friend ko thodi si akal toh ayi! Kartik sahi keh raha tha...mera yahan aana bohot important tha warna tu apni zindagi barbaad karke baitha hota!"
