September 9th, 2008. 9:56am

MASS SHOOTING ISSUED AT ANNONVALE ACADEMY.
AT LEAST 60 DEAD.
GUN-MAN, BRYAN HORACE, HAS BEEN ARRESTED.

It was all over the news, newspapers, flyers, everywhere.

The school was under lock out.
No one was allowed in.

The halls were drenched with blood, bodies were still scattered across the school.

Tyler—who was at home—blankly stared at the television screen as the news-reporter went over what happened.

"A shooting." He mutters.
"This....can't be real."

"It's impossible. How would someone get access to a gun?.." Tyler questions himself.

Cindy was sitting at the table, drinking a cup of tea.
She overheard the news and she couldn't say that it wasn't scary.

Anyone who was present during the time of the shooting completely flew over Tyler's head.
Though, The main thing that stood out to him was the shooter's name.

'Bryan Horace.'

Bryan...
A boy he's been friends with for..so long.

8 years of friendship and he didn't even pick up a hint of insanity.?

Tyler stopped to think.

"There's...No fucking way..." he mutters.

"There's no fucking way." Tyler repeats, he stood up and walked over to the phone.

He dialled a number, it was where his father worked, or well...where he used to work.

"Thank you for dialling RudyBell Factory of animation, unfortunately, we have to put you on a 15 minute hold queue." A robotic sounding woman spoke.

Tyler sighed.

—15 minutes later—

Tyler was getting bored just standing there, he wished it would hurry up.

"Good morning caller!" A man spoke in a cheerful voice.
"Um, hi, I'm not actually here to ask any questions or purchase an animation or use a character....I've actually called to see if I could speak to Mr. Anderson.....the boss of the company." Tyler answers.

"....I'm sorry, but you cannot do that." The man on the other end says.

"Just....just for a quick second.!..I have so many questions and he's the only one who can help-....or...explain I guess....what's going on." Tyler looked at the television, which was still viewing the scene at Annonvale.

"Sorry Sir, Mr. Anderson is unavailable right now." The man apologised again.

Tyler groaned loudly.
"You don't understand! I NEED to speak to him!" He demanded,
