Steven, who was at home. . .
Well, in his apartment room, was watching something on the television.

Everyday, that one interaction with his son a few years back runs through his mind.

He wished he could've spoken to his kids more, but thanks to Cindy, he couldn't.
She'd never let him speak to them.

Also assuming that she fed them lies about Steven as a person by the way Tyler reacted to seeing him after a long time.
Steven shook his head.

All his kids....Allie,...Bryce,....Elliot.

They were all gone.
And he never even knew why.

It wasn't far, not only for him, but them losing their lives so soon.

But, he bet on everything Cindy had something to do with it.

While Steven was mid-thought, the power went out.

He looked around.
"Fucking bullshit." He muttered, standing up.

Steven went opened a drawer, reaching for a flashlight.

.
He sighed as he turned it on.
Steven looked up, a horrifying looking face disappeared into the darkness.

His whole body jolted.
"Not again...fucking hell." Steven gritted his teeth.

"I hate playing these stupid games!" He shouted at the dark.
He frantically moved the light around the room, seeing the same face appearing and disappearing.

"Don't trust her..she's evil..."
He heard a whisper.

Steven dropped the flashlight on the counter and ran to the door, exiting his room.

Steven sighed.
"I can't...do this anymore." He palmed his hands over his eyes.

"Mr. Wyatt, are you alright?" The cleaning lady questions.
"Um...yes. I'm fine." Steven answers.

She nodded and continued pushing her trolly of cleaning supplies.

"Why is it only my room lights that go out..?" Steven asked himself, looking around.

...
As soon as he said that, light shined from underneath his door.

He sighed and entered his room again.

Steven was on his way to work, he worked at a factory but aside from that, he has been spending most of his time trying to figure out what happened to his daughter and what her death had to do with creatures....presumably from another world.

A whole new place.

A dark one.

He's been seeing them.
Everywhere.
These creatures....entities....demons.
He wasn't quite sure what they were.
