After Kira left, our group got smaller every time we left the airport, until only Steele, Josh, and I were left, but that was two months ago. This time the three of us walked into the airport with large smiles, everyone was coming back for break this month, staying for two weeks before having to go back
"Ace, would you please stop bouncing!" Josh begged, holding my shoulder
"I can't help it!" I squealed, watching the arrivals gate
"Ace!" A voice screamed and suddenly I was tackled by a bouncing blonde girl
"Sarah!" I shrieked, hugging her tightly as we sat on the ground
"Luke!" Luke yelled cherrily, coming to a grinning stop beside Steele who hugged our friend, laughing and slapping him on the back
"Oh my god I missed you!" Sarah squeaked, as Luke and Steele helped us up, Josh laughing from beside us
"You two are such freaks." He teased, ruffling Sarah's hair
"I missed you too Josh." Sarah grinned, hugging both him and Steele before standing beside me. The flight from Saskatchewan was due in 10 minutes
"I suggest coffee." Sarah muttered to me
"Good idea. Josh, Luke, can you guys take the bags out to Josh's truck?" I asked, glancing back at them
"Sure." Luke sighed, grabbing his while Josh picked up Sarahs. Or, tried, rather
"What the hell did you pack?! A herd if cows?!" He asked, finally managing to pick them up
"I only packed two cows and mule, don't be so whiney." She teased
"You know what? I don't want you here anymore. Ace, we're sending her back, we can't handle this type of responsibility." He teased as he and Luke walked away
"Dammit!" She yelled after a second "he won our first bicker..." She added sadly as we pulled Steele to a coffee shop, ordering 4 coffees and a hot chocolate for me, before going back to the gate to wait for Lexi
"So how's it going in Olds?" I asked Sarah, sipping my drink
"Well...schools good, but I'm not going back." She confessed, glancing at us
"What? Why?" I quizzed, furrowing my brows as I looked at her
"I'm pregnant." She muttered quietly, looking down at her shoes. I froze, and suddenly Steele started coughing, setting his coffee down
"Oh my god congrats!" I screamed, hugging her
"Yeah, congrats Sarah." Steele grinned
"W-what?!" He coughed, his caughing easing down
"That's what I was thinking!" A voice shouted from behind us. Luke...

"Luke and Sarah had gone to talk privately outside
"Well then..." Josh muttered, finally saying something after their unheard return
"That's what I thought." Steele said quietly, watching the gate for Lexi. We didn't see her, but suddenly Josh was on the floor, a crying brunette on top of him
"Oh my god I missed you guys!" She shouted, leaping off her boyfriend and into my arms
"I missed you too!" I yelled, holding her tightly as Steele laughed
"I even missed you! Why I don't know!" She exclaimed, stepping away from me and hugging Steele tightly
"I sorta missed you too." He chuckled, hugging her as well
"I thought Luke and Sarah's flight got here first." Lexi mumbled, looking around
"It did, but they're discussing...things." Josh explained awkwardly
"Oh, okay then." She smiled. River was next.

His flight had come in from Texas, and his arrival was a little less screechy
"My fellow losers!" He grinned, walking towards us with a large duffel bag over his shoulder, arms spread wide
"River!" I laughed as Lexi and I jumped on him. With an arm around each if our waists, he carried us easily. Packing us the 20 feet we'd ran to hug him
"Well I missed you lovely ladies too! Where's Sarah and Luke?" He asked, looking over at Josh and Steele
"There's been some... Exciting developments that they're talking about." Steele told him with a grin
"Oookay then." River muttered, squeezing Lexi and I tightly "See, these two love me! Unlike my best friends since the diaper era over here!" He added, fake sobbing as his diaper era pals shook their heads.
"You're such a loser." Luke laughed as he and Sarah walked in, tear stains on her cheeks
"River, release momentarily." I whispered, notice his questioning gaze on her face aswell
"You okay?" I asked as Lexi and I walked over to her
"He yelled, at first. But then he got really upset and asked why I hadn't told him. But I only found out yesterday, and I wanted to tell you first, for mutual support. He just walked away...which exactly what I knew he'd do." She told me, starting to cry as Lexi wrapped her arms around the smaller girl
"I'll be right back." I growled, walking over to where all four boys were reunited
"Ass hole!" I hissed, socking him in the face
"Woah! Ace!" River and Steele yelled, pulling me back as I went towards him again
"Ace what the hell?!" Josh gasped, checking his friends face
"What the hell were you thinking?! You made her cry, Luke! You don't just walk away from something that's partially you're fault!" I yelled, attracting attention
"She could have fucking told me about it!" He bellowed, jumping back to his feet
"She told me first because she wanted someone to help tell you! She was scared you'd react like this!" I screamed, fighting the vice grips holding me in place
"How else would I react?! I'm not even 18! I'm not ready for that type of responsibility!" He shouted as Josh stopped him from coming towards me
"Why don't you just man up and grab a pair of-" I was cut off abruptly, River ending the argument by slapping his hand over my mouth
"What the hell's going on here?" A voice asked from beside us; Kira had arrived
"That's what I'd like to know!" River exclaimed, his hand still on my mouth
"Over et o!" I demanded, my voice coming out muffled
"What?" He asked, looking down at me
"Et o!" I yelled, slapping his hand, only getting a confused look in return
"She wants you to move your hand." Kira told her boyfriend, pushing his hand off my face
"Okay, now what's going on?" River asked as I glared at Luke, Steele pulling me against his chest
"I'm pregnant." Sarah muttered quietly from beside Steele and I
"And Luke made her cry." I hissed, watching as Luke's gaze flew to Sarah
"Sarah I-" he mumbled, moving to take a step towards her
"No! Just...leave me alone." She muttered, hiding her face in Steele's chest as he wrapped one his arms around her as well
"Baby please, just-" he started
"No!" She shouted, her body shaking as she cried
"Let's go. River, Steele, Sarah, and Lexi come with me. Josh, take him or I'll murder him." I sighed, stepping away from Steele and grabbed Sarah's hand
"Wanna go to the cafe?" Lexi chirped, trying to lighten the mood
"Yeah! That sounds brilliant!" River smiled, holding Kira tightly as we made ourbwqy into the parking lot
"River, toss me you're duffel." Josh demanded as we walked through the doors
"Sure." River grinned, tossing the bag to Josh
"We'll meet you at the cafe." I called as u unlocked my truck
"Steele, you're in the back." I called as Sarah and I got the truck
"Fine." He sulked, hoppiglng in and shutting the door
"I bet you 10 bucks his arms are crossed when we get in." River grinned, looking at me
"That's a suckers bet, I know they're crossed." I laughed as Sarah opened the passenger door
"They're crossed!" She chuckled, glancing back as all of us laughed
"What?" We heard him ask from in the truck
"Nothing babe!" I yelled as I opened the drivers door and jumped in.

All through our time at the cafe, Sarah refused to acknowledge Luke's exsistance. We were currently sitting by a bonfire in my backyard
"I missed this. Just hanging out with my fellow losers." River smiled, leaning back in the lawn lounger he was sitting in, Kira pressed against his chest
"Yeah, it is." Steele grinned. He sat between Sarah and I, an arm around each of us
"I missed you guys." Lexi laughed as Kira made a face at her
"Me too." Sarah giggled as she and I played tick-tac-toe on a notebook sitting on Steele's lap
"I didn't." Josh teased, sticking out his tongue
"Oh really." Lexi joked, glaring at him
"No. I didn't miss the losers. But I did miss you." He smiled, kissing her for head
"Nice save dick wad!" I laughed as I connected my O's
"I don't know how but you're cheating! No ones this good at tic-tac-toe!" Sarah accused jokingly, glaring at me
"Someone's a sore loser." Josh teased, ignoring my dick wad comment
"She is. I quit playing that with her a long time ago." Steele laughed, Lexi and Kira nodding in agreement as everyone laughed. After a while, everyone lapsed into silence, enjoying the familiarity of what we were doing. Steele ran his fingers through my hair, or down my arm as he thought
"I have a question for you Ace." He told me, taking his arms from around Sarah and I and leaning forward
"Hmm?" I hummed, looking at him, along with everyone else
"Marry me?" He asked, opeing up a ring box. My jaw dropped, and there were multiple gasps from around the fire, but his eyes never left mine.
