I unlocked the door and started to make my way to the mailbox.I turned around and saw Jahseh staring at me through the blinds.

I made it to the mailbox and got the mail out. I saw a letter from the prison Kentrell was in. "This must be the court date"I mumbled
Out of nowhere I saw a man approaching me.
"Hello, you're name is Liah right?"he asked, before I could say anything I heard Jahseh shouting and running fast towards us.
"Who the fuck are you?!"Jahseh yelled as he pulled me behind him
"You're kind of interrupting my conversation with her"The man said

"What's the problem man? A father can't talk to his daughter?"he chuckled

He sighed "yeah I'm your dad..."
"You're Lonnie?"Jahseh asked
"Yeah...I am and I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you"he said to me
"Hell no! I heard about you Liah let's go"Jahseh said
"you heard about me?"Lonnie questioned
"My mom told me what you did to her"I said
"Whatever she told you Liah, she's lying"Lonnie clinched his jaw tight
"I don't trust you..for all we know you could be some random ass nigga that saw Liah on the news"Jahseh said

He dugged in his front pocket and pulled out 3 tiny pictures. He gestured it towards me. I came from behind Jahseh and looked at the pictures. The first picture was him and my mom, the second was him and my aunt Toya, the last one was him and my grandmother hugging.
