"Hey Don you look like you've seen a gohst you okay?" I asked eatting a slice of pizza
"Yeah what are you doing right now?" he asked
"I'm about to surface why?" i axked
"No reasin." He said calmly
"Are you sure you are okay?" I asked
"Yeah never better is this twenty questions or what gez." Donnie said flustered going back into his lab
" Okay then, see you later mikey." i said
"see ya i'll let you know if mister crazy over there calms down." he said standing up to move around which still hurt him just a bit
I have had some wired conversations with Donnie before, some of them where Donnie and i just started to turn red because of the akwardness. This one by far though was the wierdest. i thought as i walked to the rats place.
"Good evening mis covington please take a seat you look troubled." he said
"Yeah its someonr i know his name is Donnie I just had the most akward conversation with him and then his brother Leo came back. then came mikey who was barly breathing when he got here but he is still alive thanks to donnie. I don't know its just the fact that the family is almost whole except for raph who has gone off the deepend." i said trying to keep the tears out of my voice
"I see, you seem to bare the weight of the world on your shoulders my young child." He said lifting my chin up and wipping my eyes even though i could see a look of hurt on he face
"I just want my love and his family to be back." I said sadly
"really and who is your love?" he asked
"Leo he is so nice to me, great leader, but often times blames himself for family problems." i said
"He always did do that." the rat said to himself
"what?" I asked
"Nothing my dear no leson today go home and help your family." he said walking away as i walked out the door
mikey's pov
"Hey mike where is everybody?" asked Leo
"Donie's in his lab the rest went top side." i said thinking
"Hey little bro are you okay?" he asked
"Sure i guess." I said bluntly not really careing
"hey guys whats the matter with Mikey?" asked Donnie
"Nothing don't you get that! I don't want to talk about it!" I said lossing it
" Mikey come on we're your brothers." said Donnie
"Brothers, Ha thats why Leo left, and you and raph consantly fought not paying attention to me when i tryed to stop you some brothers you are." i said a little mad knowing i cut them deep
"Mikey look ..... I don't know where to start." Said Leo
"Let me start it then, for five years i have sat on the streets contemplating weather or not i should come back. thosuand upon thosuands of thoughts ruing through my mind wishing that i could some how just get the guts to come back. Thinking that some how mabey i could pice back the family and give us hope. I never imagened that i would have a family fall apart at the seems. I'm human i know but it's like once master splinter left or was gone everything fell apart, and me, Mikey, the one who knows how to brighten up a room, couldnt handle it. i still can't face or belive the worst part Raph's gone bad. I miss my older brother, i get he kicked the living snot out of me, but he's done it before so this time didn't hurt any less. I miss your brains Donnie and Leo's leader ship. What happend to this "family"? why the shell did we fall apart?" i said tears escaping
"Little bro I'm so sorry. I got so caught up in my life and taylor, and wht i was doing was wrong. i forgot about you the team. i just thought if i had battled shredder harder mast splinter would still be here, we wouldn't be human and still be the same as we used to be. Leo said comforting me
"i guess for years i blamed myself for all of you leaving. i blamed myself i drove Raph away i still remeber those last words i said to him i told him he never cared and was just a hot head. i kept think that if i made a cure that you all would come back but unfortunatly ( sorry im a really bad speller) that hasn't happend yet. you guys probally wouldn't come back even if i did make a cure Mikey might come back but not you Leo." donnie said all those tears that had been built up for so long coming out like a never ending water fall
" look donnie dont blame youself its not your fault." said Leo as tears escaped his eyes
" It's no one fault in particular we all left each other to fend for our selfs." i said seeing my brothers broken to the point of vonerablity
For the first time scine as long as I can remeber i saw my brothers broken over something and i could see the bond being formed as the pain full, bloody wounds of the past healed.
