Chapter 5 Death Anniversary And First Clue

*Diana P.O.V*

I was just finish up doing my reports as one of my co-workers, Dr. Ochea. Sarah Jean Ochea, she's the first one I met before I go to have an interview for the job in Central Hospital.

she brought a 2 starbucks coffee and gave me one and I accept it

Dr. Ochea said "it's latte and I know you hate black coffee" she smiled at me

"thanks and how did you know?" I sip the latte

"I saw that one of out co-workers gave you black coffee and ask you out. but then, you as usual reject. you even show a different face when you sip that coffee" she wink at me

"I guess, I do..." I stare the windows "anyway, my shift is already over and I better get going" I grab my things

"take care and enjoy your accident" she make a joke

"you too and thanks for the latte" I thank her

when I go out of the hospital. Barry is here and approach me

"how's your day?" he asked me

"tired and going home straight. I have work at night time" I told him

"and your drinking a coffee" he point my drink

"she gave me and it's rude for rejecting it" I shrugged and drink my latte

"are you free, the day after tomorrow?" he asked me out of the blue

"no, I'm not" I shook my head slightly "it's the death anniversary of my parents and I'm planning to visit their grave" I smiled slightly

"how many years that your parents passed away?" he asked

"8 years and didn't open it, yet" I sigh

"where did you put the files?" we walked to the paeking area

"it's hard to find the files and only I can know" we stopped

my ride is sports car and Oliver gave it to me on my 20th birthday as Diggle teach me how to drive. I noticed that Barry looked at my ride surprised

Barry said "how did you... get this thing?" he stared at my car

"it was a present gift from my friend and I should get going" I told him

"be safe and call me if anything goes wrong" I nod

I went inside of the car, wave at Barry then left while driving

*Barry P.O.V*

I went back to my lab as Joe came in

he said "that was fast, how did it go?" he asked me

"she's not available, Diana will visit her parents grave because it was their death anniversary" I sigh

I was gonna ask her if she could help me solve her parents and mom case but, she can't

"where Diana's parents grave?" he asked me

"I didn't ask because she is tired from work and her shift is night time" I told him

"I see, I'll ask her later if she has time" he left

I sigh and continue my work

when I was about to sleep, someone called me it was Oliver. I pick up he phone

"hey, Ollie. I'm sorry for not contacting you lately because I was busy" I told him

I could hear he chuckled

"its, alright. how are you?" he asked

"I'm fine and 3 days ago, I was sick in the middle of Barry's mission" I laugh nervously
