You glanced over and grinned at the girl who was holding your hand.

In her other hand, she had a waffle cone with rocky road ice cream on top.

"Mmm." She said taking a bite out of it. "I love this stuff!"

She closed her eyes and tilted her face up toward the sky to soak in the delight of this moment.

You just gaped at her. "Brain freeze much?"

She shrugged and continued taking chunks out of the treat with her teeth.

"So what do you want to do first?" She asked excitedly as her eyes scanned the amusement park.

Yelena had a dark past and never really got to do anything she wanted, so when she found out about amusement parks, she insisted that you guys go to one.

Here you were.

There were roller coasters, carousels, splash pads, small restaurants, gift shops, mini games and more.

So much to chose from.

You took this moment to check out your girlfriend. She wore denim shorts paired with a skin tight, navy blue tank top. Her hair was pulled into an effortless bun and she had on casual white flip flops.

Even in something so simple she looked freaking gorgeous.

"Did you hear me?" Yelena raised a questioning eyebrow at you while eating more ice cream.

You blinked. "O-oh. Um. We can go to the gift shop if you'd like."

She smiled and dragged you along with her.

Yelena held on tight to the large plush pig you bought her.

When you were in the gift shop she'd gotten distracted playing around with things and handed you her empty ice cream cone.

Now that you were back outside, you could finally throw it away.

As you were disposing of the cone that she wasted, she practically squealed, "Детка! Look! I want to try that."

She ran through a crowd and you almost tripped to keep up with her.

"Yelena?" You shouted through the swarm of people.

Your heart began to race and you were worried that she might get lost or hurt.

Then you remembered that she was an ex-assassin.

"Yelena?!" You tried again but people kept ramming into you.

Once the crowd had dispersed you were folded over with your hands on your knees to keep yourself from passing out.

You looked up to see Yelena standing a few feet away, her back to you. She was looking up at a roller coaster in awe.

It was red and had all sorts of twists, turns and flips.

She pointed up to it, "Любовь, I want to go on that one."

You stood up straight and walked over to her tiredly.

You weren't about to tell her that you were exhausted, trampled on, and may have twisted your ankle.

She looked so happy, why ruin it?

So, you and Yelena put your belongings away and waited in line for an hour before they finally let you board.

She climbed into the rickety bench and sat down in anticipation.

You followed her, trying to be careful where you were stepping.

Once you were seated next to her, you took her hand.

Her bright green eyes were sparkling in the sunlight and her smile could cure global depression. (🦋)

You pulled the protective bar over your heads and she looked down at it questioningly but decided to accept it.

The seat you were in and all the seats behind and in front of you began to move forward at a steady pace.

You took deep breaths as you heard the clinking of metal.

The slight change in course pushed you and Yelena's backs to the seat. The gravitational force frightened you as the roller coaster made it's way up.

It stopped completely at the top and had Yelena looking over the edge confused.

"Babe, Don't-" Your voice was cut off by the screams of other passengers as the ride dropped down the tracks without warning.

Yelena let go of your hand and put her arms in the air like everyone else.

She laughed and squealed as the ride took more twists and turns.

Your stomach churned but you were close to the end so you tried to hold yourself together.

You noticed the coaster camera that was coming up and tapped Yelena's shoulder.

You pointed to it, "Smile!"

She pulled a blank face and then took your face in her hands and kissed you.

After the photo was done, she pulled away and had a huge smirk on her face.

Your eyes were wide in surprise and confusion.

Finally the ride had slowed to a stop and you stepped out first, holding your hand out for Yelena to grab.

You giggled as you helped lift her out of the cart and she stumbled into your arms.

As you were exiting, a man in a uniform handed you a small photo.

It was the two of you on the ride, her hands on your face and your lips smashed together.

You laughed at the silly moment and she flung an arm around your shoulders.

"I love you so much." She said in that perfect Russian accent.

You snaked your arm around her waist, "I love you too."
