Lauren's phone buzzed as she walked out of class. She whipped out her phone from her backpack and smiled when she saw the caller ID.

"Hey stranger," she said cooly as she answered the phone.

"Hey yourself."

"What's up?"

"Nothing much. You?"

"I'm about to head to practice."

"I miss you."

"I miss you too, babe."

"Call me when you're off?"

"Always," Lauren said with a smile. She heard her teammates call her name and the green eyed girl gave them a slight nod.

"I gotta go. I love you," Lauren said before she hung up. She swung her duffle bag onto her shoulder and jogged towards the locker room.

"I love you too," said Camila quietly. Lauren had disconnected the call before she could say it. It's been two weeks since they saw each other and Camila missed her terribly. Camila let out a loud sigh as she set her phone down on the table.

She saw her two friends approached her and Camila gave them a fake smile as they sat down across her.

"Hey girl," Hailee greeted.

"Hey," Camila said.

"So do you have plans?" Hailee asked.

"Not today. Why?"

"Could you wait for me?" Cece asked, "I have cheerleading practice and Hails is busy."

"Yeah, sure."

"But you can't come into the gym. It's a closed practice," Cece added.

"No worries. I'll be at the library," Camila said with a smile.

Cece thanked her before the two girls got up and walked off. A smile crept onto the brunette's face as she grabbed her bag and walked out of the cafeteria. She walked towards the field where the Softball team had their training. She climbed up the stairs and sat at the bleachers. When she saw a pair of green eyes looking at her, she smiled and gave a slight wave. She watched as her girlfriend jogged towards her.

"What are you doing here?"

"Came to see you," Camila said.

"No seriously."

"Cece has cheerleading practice and I'm supposed to wait for her until she's done. I had nothing else to do so I came here."

"I thought you wanted to keep us lowkey," Lauren said as she walked up the steps and sat beside the brunette.

"I do but we're still friends, right?" Camila asked.

"Camz, no one is gonna buy that. We're from two different worlds," Lauren said as she looked at Camila.

"Well, we're still neighbors, aren't we? You live across the street from me," Camila said.

"Yeah but three blocks away," Lauren said.

"Please, Lolo? I miss you," Camila said. Lauren looked down and saw Camila's hand on top of hers.

"I missed you too," she said as she looked up and met her gaze.

"But you shouldn't have come here," Lauren said. Camila looked down as she took her hand back, "Oh."

Lauren smiled, "You shouldn't have come here because right now, all I want to do is kiss you and hold you and never let you go."
