Chapter 22 - Operation101

"Pero 'di ba mas okay kung ikaw na ang personal na magbigay? Plus pogi points, gano'n. I'm sure that she's going to be your girlfriend even before you could ask her." He tapped my shoulders like an older brother of mine.

Galing ah! Sa tingin ko nga nasa third year highschool pa ang isang 'to. Ano bang alam niya sa lovelife ng isang tao?

"Just do what I said, young man. Ibang klaseng babae ang pagbibigyan ko nito kaya kung pwede, gawin mo na lang." I handed him my gifts and told him to wait for my signal.

Nang tuluyan na akong makapasok sa kotse ko ay saka ko siya binigyan ng thumbs up senyales na gawin niya na ang parte niya. He immediately get what I said and pressed the doorbell twice. Ilang minuto pa ay bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa no'n mismo si Zeriel kaya mukhang natigilan ang batang lalaking inutusan ko. He didn't move nor talk that made her confused.

Damn it! 'Wag niyang sabihin na na-love at first sight siya sa crush ko?!

Good thing Zeriel knew what he's purpose that's why she harshly grabbed the bouquet of flowers and smelled it. Pagkatapos naman ay binigay ng bata sa kanya ang M&M chocolate kaya hindi niya ito makapaniwalang tiningnan. The young man didn't talk when Zeriel asked him something, probably asking where did it came from. And right after he answered, she throwed the bouquet of flowers in the middle of the street and gave the chocolate to him before going back inside her house.

Hinampas ko ang manibela ko nang pumalya ang unang plano na ginawa namin ng mga kaibigan ko. This is fucking crazy! I know that this would be the outcome yet I still pursued it. Hindi ko aakalaing nagpapakahirap pala ako sa pagbigay sa kanya nito.

What's with her?! I thought that's what she like?!

Kumatok bigla sa bintana ng kwarto ko ang batang lalaki at nilahad ang kamay niya."Where's my money? Sana hindi na lang ako pumayag sa pinagawa mo. She's so beautiful like a goddess but her attitude really sucks. Tinawag niya pa akong totoy."

I massaged the bridge of my nose before giving him the money. Pagkatapos niyang makaalis ay saka naman tumunog ang phone ko at halos lumuwa ang puso ko sa kaba nang malamang si Zeriel ang tumatawag. Fuck it!

"H-Hello? Why did---"

[Ano ba sa tingin mo ang ginagawa mo, ha?! What is the purpose of giving me a bouquet of flowers and an M&M chocolate?!]

I bit my lower lip before answering her."Uh...C-Courting you, I guess? Can I?"

[You jerk! Who says I'm going to let you court me?! Pagpili nga ng bulaklak hindi mo ba magawa ng tama! Gusto mo ba akong mamatay, Shael?!]

"Huh? No! Hindi naman 'yon ang ibig kong sabihin sa bulaklak na binigay ko."

[Then why did you fucking gave me a funeral flowers?! Tapos binigyan mo pa ako ng chocolate na may nuts eh allergic ako ro'n!]

My lips parted in shock and doesn't know what to do."I-I'm sorry, Zeriel. Kase hindi ko naman alam na---"

[Stop explaining! And don't ever do this thing again or I'll kick your ass when I see you in person]

She ended up the call already without even letting me say something. Naiwan naman akong naguguluhan dahil sa sinabi niya. A-A funeral flowers?! Did I just her a flower for a dead? And she doesn't like chocolates with nuts because she's allergic on that. What the fucking fuck?!

Pinsan niya si Alina pero bakit hindi niya alam kung anong gusto niya. Impossible! O baka naman pinagtri-tripan niya lang talaga ako?

"Hello, Rynier. Your girlfriend lied to me that's why Zeriel was angry on me. Mas nadagdagan tuloy ang galit niya sa'kin at tatadyakan niya ang kinabukasan ko kapag nagkita raw kami." I gritted my teeth because of annoyance.
