May came around and the twins were working hard on getting the shop open for the summer.

That was their top priority while mine was fixing up the flat. I did a lot of planning and I knew that by the end of June, the three of us would be ready to move in.

I knew that I drove George mad with all of my planning. We didn't quite see eye to eye when it came to interior design but we had to find out a way to agree on something.

Today, I woke up in my bed, groaning at the sunlight shining in my face.

The reason I had woken up was at the sound of a door slamming and when I heard footsteps running up the stairs, I sat up in my bed.

My door opened while I ran my hands through my hair and once my eyes landed on my dad, I yawned.

He was out of breath. He seemed to be panicking.

"Your mother is in labour." He said. "Two weeks too early but we're leaving for St. Mungo's. There is breakfast downstairs. Carter is already eating."

And then he closed the door and ran back downstairs, leaving me with wide eyes.

Well that was certainly a way to start my morning.

Once I got dressed for the day and walked down to the kitchen, I was still trying to process that when mum and dad got home, I'd have a younger brother.

"They're naming him something Korean." Carter spoke, causing me to glance at him. "I was named something English, then you were named something Korean and after naming Maya, they want to use another Korean name."

I hummed.

"Kwan is Korean too..." I muttered.

"Kwan?" Carter frowned. "Why are you suddenly mentioning Kwan? We haven't seen him for years."

Carter didn't know that I had been spending time at Kwan's flat after mum kicked me out.

"Did you ever try to reach out to him?" I asked.

"Why would I?"

"He's our brother."

"Half-brother." He corrected me. "And I don't see a reason why. Kwan and I didn't get along even back then."

"You were seven." I said and Carter shrugged in response.

"We still didn't get along."

I shrugged.

"I think he would have appreciated it if you did."

Carter sighed as he stood up to clean up after himself.

"Did you ever reach out? No, you didn't so don't bug me about it, alright?"

I glanced at him. It almost seemed like he was angry with our older brother, though I didn't see a reason as to why.

"Are you going out today?" Carter asked me. "Do I get the house to myself while mum is giving birth?"

I shrugged.

"I'll go see Fred and George, probably."

"Again?" He asked. "You see them every day."

I looked at him.

"Is that a problem?"

"No." He shook his head. "Though it's starting to look like you're in the middle of moving out."

I stayed quiet. He didn't know that he was in fact right.

I was in the process of moving out but my family didn't know.
