Bodyguard {Part 2}

Your POV

"Guys I think she's finally waking up!" Someone yelled in a hushed tone.

I groaned, opening my eyes, seeing nothing but white. I looked to my left, seeing Ally, Normani, and Dinah sitting on the couch. Right across from the hospital bed, were two chairs. Lauren in one, Camila in the other.

"I'll go get the doctor," Lauren says, walking out of the room. "How are you feeling Y/N?"

"I can't feel anything."

Right after I said that, the doctor walked in. "How's it going Y/N?" I rolled my eyes as he continued to talk, "Well, I suppose I should just tell you."

"Tell me what?"
"Well Miss Y/L/N, you're paralyzed, from the waist down."

"What? No no no. H-how am I supposed to protect them if I can't walk?!"
"Y/N, we've already gotten a replacement. But you're still welcome to visit whenever because you're more like family to us. Plus you save Normani's life! You knew just as well as us that that guy was going to shoot her." I nodded, "Okay. But- um.. When can I leave?"

"Not for a couple weeks Y/N."

No POV

"Hey um.. Guys can I talk to Y/N alone for a second?" Lauren asked shyly. Everyone nodded as they exited. Lauren sat down next to Y/N, staring at her which made Y/N grow uncomfortable. "Lauren?"

"I- I need to tell you something." Y/N nodded, "I've been completely in love with you since the day I saw you Y/N. You're so unbelievably perfect, you are the most selfless person i've ever met and I love that about you. Y/N, I love you."

Y/N smiled, processing what Lauren had just said. A single tear escaped her eye, but she didn't even bother to wipe it away. "What? No no no. Why are you crying?"

Y/N shook her head, "I love you too Lauren."

"Okay Y/N, you're free to go. Remember to take your meds at least until those stitches dissolve, and if you have any problems come right back, okay?"

Y/N nodded, eager to leave. As soon as the doctor left, Y/N screamed ,"Alright! Let's go!" Lauren laughed, "Alright, alright. Do you want me to push you?" Y/N shyly nodded. She felt like she was wasting Lauren's time.

Your POV

"GIRLS WERE HOME!" Lauren shouted as she pushed me into their house. "Y/N! My most favorite person ever!" Normani yelled, running into my lap. "Hey Mani."

Normani planted a kiss on my cheek, "I just wanted to thank you again for saving my life," she winked, walking away. I looked up at Lauren who was glaring at Normani. I laughed, "Chill Laur." She rolled her eyes, "Okay, so, how are you supposed to get up and down the stairs?" I shrugged, "You could carry meee!" Lauren rolled her eyes as Camila said, "Oo! Me too Lo!"

"Laur can we watch a movie?" I asked, smiling. Lauren set her book down, "What movie would you like to watch babe?" I thought about it for a moment, "Surprise me." She nodded, getting up and walking over to the movie case. I lifted myself up, out of the wheelchair and onto the couch, pushing it away. Lauren came and sat down next me with a bowl of popcorn as the movie title came onto the screen. Sinister. She chose sinister, knowing I hate scary movies.

"Really Laur!! You know I don't like scary movies."

"Love youuu."

"Yeah, yeah. Love you too asshole."
