A former Commander who has a complicated past with Azur Lane that is full of nothing but pain and suffering is chosen to be their Commander again or is given a similar job by the UN (United Nations). But does he want to see his old subordinates and...
As he set his bags down on the oak floor upon entering his old office, he took in his surroundings. The room was just as he last remembered it: a decent-sized office with an oak desk, devoid of a usable computer setup, and a red office chair. Two dark blue filing cabinets were within arms reach, and a wall-mounted bookshelf behind his desk housed a wide variety of books, ranging from history to fantasy to battle tactics.
On the walls, various newspaper clippings highlighted key points in his career, along with photos, achievements, and awards he received while serving Azur Lane. Sitting down in the red office chair, Sous-lieutenant Vogel placed his Famas Valorisé onto the desk and pulled out a file labeled "File - 154 - 452," marked with classified and level 10 clearance. He knew that he was the only person with level 10 clearance, granted during his time as overall Commander of Azur Lane. As far as he knew, the clearance had not been replaced or revoked since NATO had not yet found a suitable candidate for the position. They trusted him more than a Commander who was obsessed with women's bodies or attempted rape, as Sous-lieutenant Vogel had always upheld the values of integrity and respect. With curiosity, he opened the file to read its contents.
