"Can I ask you ladies something?" Asked Adm. Williams wanted to know the four Americans better if they were to be working together.
"Depends." Answered Cpt. White as she pulled out a cigarette from the pack being held onto her helmet via it's band and lit it.
"For starters, what's your opinion on the Sous-Lieutenant?" She inquired as she took a swig from her beer.
"From what we've seen he's willing to fight to the last breath, and his record shows that he's seen his fair share of combat which can be reinforced by his medals." Answered Lt. Col Angelica.
"He's fought in the same combat environments as us so that's something we have in common." Stated Cpt. Ashly.
"He also holds the number five spot for longest sniper kill by killing a siren collaborator with a PGM Hécate II at 2,400m (2624yrds) which means he is well trained for his job whichever task he may be given." Stated Cpt. King.
"I see but do you trust him enough to follow his orders?" Asked the Rear Admiral, prying deeper.
"He has the experience so only time can judge him." Answered Cpt. White as she let out a puff of smoke before sucking on her cigarette again.
"I see." She replied as her mind went into thought but her bubble was broken when a Commander approached their table.
"That was him wasn't it?' Questioned a Caucasian female with long black hair braided into a ponytail, greyish black eye with a pair of black framed glasses overtop and wore an US Navy service khaki uniform that displayed the rank of Commander on her shoulders, black dress shoes and a cane in her right hand.
"Yes it was but give him some space he's been through a lot of pain that none of us will ever understand." The Rear Admiral instructed.
"I see." The female responded before turning her attention to the four Americans. "What might your relationship be towards him?"
"We just met him so we can't say how we feel towards him and as to why we are hanging around him it's because he's the Commander of the UNRAALPROFOR (United Nations Red Axis Azur Lane Protection Force) mission and were his subordinates." Answered Cpt. White. "Come on, we have our orders."
As that was said the four ladies left the cafeteria with their equipment walking towards the officer's dormitory.
"So why is the UN here more so why is he here?" Asked the Black haired Commander.
"They're here because of the UN mission in the pacific and in the waters surrounding the other factions to make sure that no one on either side perishes as well as making sure that the situation doesn't escalate into full scale war and he's here because he's the Commander of the mission."
"I see." She replied, getting her answer and walking away and leaving but was stopped by the Admiral.
"Cdr. Avery, if anyone starts talking shit about him you have my permission to give them a lesson in CQC as you and I are one of the few officers who care about him." Said Admiral Williams.
"Will do ma'am." She replied as she had a smile plastered on her face as she walked towards a table of commanders who were talking shit about him as she clenched her cane tightly leaving the Admiral alone at the table with Howe and Monarch.
"Things are getting interesting." The Admiral said to herself causing the two Royal Navy ship girls looked at her curiously as the sound of bones being broken could be heard in the background with all three ladies ignoring it as the Admiral pulled out a pack of cigarettes and lit one inhaling and exhaling a puff of smoke as she smiled to herself. "If Vestal saw him or me doing this she would kill us." But as soon as she said that, her smile disappeared as she realized the situation. "How much pain are you in Sous-Lieutenant Vogal?" She asked herself as his eyes portrayed nothing but years of pain and suffering.
