Echoing: When It All Began

Chapter 1, D

Covering his cheek which was a swollen red colour now.

"Mum hit you again, didn't she?." Allie questions.

Elliot nodded, he seemed more angry than upset.

Allie sighed.

Even though they rarely showed it, the two cared about each other.

"It's something..I'll never quite understand.." Elliot mumbled.

"Me neither." Allie replied.
"Why don't you ever get hit?!" Elliot questions.
"Because, I don't ask for it like you do." Allie answers.
Elliot walked over and kicked her leg.

"OUCH" She grasped it.
Elliot laughed.

Allie pushed him over.

Elliot stood up and pulled his sister's hair.
Allie tried to get free, but Elliot wouldn't let go.

"STOP IT" She demanded.
"NO" Elliot yelled.

"BRYCE!" Allie called out.
"No! Don't call Bryce!" Elliot let go.

Allie grabbed Elliot's arm and twisted it.
"OWWW" he screamed.

Bryce, who attended to his name, stared at his siblings fighting each other.
"Can you two stop? For like 5 minutes?" He questioned.
"He started it!" Allie pointed.

"I did not!" Elliot stomped his foot.

"You fucking LIAR!"
"Hey! Watch your language Allie." Bryce crossed his arms.

He then walked into her room, grabbed Elliot and dragged him out.

Allie rubbed her head where Elliot had grabbed her hair, her eyes swelled with tears.
"I hate him so much.." she cried, palming her hands over her eyes.

April 27th, 1999. 1:02pm

Tyler was walking around the school minding his own business.
He was dreading the next class since it was math.

Tyler looked up, seeing a group of kids walking his way.
He pretended he didn't see them and attempted to turn around, but one of them called out to him.

Tyler sighed and turned around.

Tyler blankly stared at the ground, as the group of students called him names and made fun of him.

This bullying had gotten worse over the past few months.

Tyler was a strong boy, but against 8 different people would be difficult.

Out of the blue, one of them pushed him to the ground.
