a body is a gift of nature

when your creamy skin,
ever so soft and inviting,
comes upon an earthquake
that cracks asphalt;
aren't you glad, daughter of nature,
that your body is claimed by lightning?

when your taut blanket
gets folded,
don't loathe the layers cultivated.
for these rolls are the freshly tilled soil
where rose buds blossom
into a beautiful garden.
