Chapter 2

Huminto kami sa harap ng nakabukod na building. Color yellow iyon na may kaunting blue at halos walang pinagkaiba iyon sa kung paano nakwento ni mama sa diary nya. The girls dorm building.

I can still feel the guilt of leaving my mother alone, I didn't even say goodbye. Umalis ako sa bahay habang tulog sya pero sinugarado ko namang may note akong iniwan, explaining why I left and where I'm going.

I love you mom, wait for me. I'll bring Zeus Weilford to you, crying for forgiveness. I whispered.

My room is on the 7th floor. Palihim kong pinupuri ang ganda ng pagkakagawa nitong school at hindi ko maiwasang manghinayang dahil sa nangyayari sa school na ito, at kung di ko lang alam ang sikreto ng unibersidad na'to iisipin kong isa na ito sa pinaka perpektong university.

We stopped in front of Room 73. Ms. Lhyn knocked on the door and it opened immediately.

"Good afternoon Ms. Lhyn,” the girl with eye glasses greeted.

"Good afternoon Morte, this is Rain Artemis. Your new dorm mate. Rain, come in. This is Elizabeth Morte one of your dorm mates,” Ms. Lhyn Introduced.

Katulad ng ibang estudyanteng nadaanan namin kanina, Elizabeth is looking at me like I'm out of my mind.

“H-hi" she even stuttered.

I'm not in the mood so I just nod my head and entered the room.

"I'll send you your class schedules and uniforms later, if you want to ask anything feel free to ask me or anyone in this University. Again welcome to ForD University, Miss Rain Artemis." She gave me a wide smile and for me, it's creepy.

She walked away. I pulled my luggage and shut the door.

I really impressed with the designs of the room, kaya ‘di ko napansin na may tatlong pares ng mga mata ang nakatitig sa'kin.

"So y-you are the t-trasferee?"

"D-do you k-now what life have you entered?"

"T-this isn't right"

They stuttered in chorus. Phew, definitely yes. I want to answer them but I chose to remain silent and just gave them a blank stare.

"Can I ask where the cafeteria is?" I coldly asked and they gave me an amused look.

I want to treat them nicely but before I entered this craziness I already set to my mind that I shouldn't trust anyone and never show them my weakness. It's my way on how to survive here.

"Uh... sige magbihis k-ka muna then we’ll s-show you the cafeteria," Elizabeth still stutters. She looks nice but still, I don't trust her.

Pumunta ako sa isang bakanteng kama at nilagay ang luggage ko sa ilalim non, mamaya ko nalang siguro aayusin. Nagugutom na ako.

"I'm Kofi Nicole Cruz nga pala" a girl with a shoulder length hair said when I stood up. Mahihimigmigan ang sigla sa boses niya pero bakas ang pag-aalinlangan.

"Erica Cenon, here."

"Rain Artemis Zseilore,” I simply said.

They’re still in amusement state but the girl named Erica is now looking at me with her confused stare.

Elizabeth the nerdy, Kofi the bubbly, and Erica the interesting one. Should I trust these three?

I don't think so.

We're now heading to the cafeteria. I can see the stares of the students that are still shocked in my peripheral view.

Gusto ko lang namang kumain anong masama don? Tsk.

Nakakamanghang isipin na walang nagbago sa unibersidad na'to mula sa pagkakak'wento ni mama sa diary. The classrooms, dorms, cafeteria almost all the facilities never changed a bit. I wonder, if the underground is still the same.

Gusto ko sanang kumain sa cafeteria pero ng makita ko ang mga studyanteng nakatambay doon ay parang umurong ang gutom ko.

"Nagbago isip ko mamaya nalang ako kakain." I told to the three musketeers. Erica, Elizabeth and Kofi I meant.

"Huh? Sige! Mamaya nalang din kami, tara na.” Tumawa si Kofi na halata namang napipilitan lang.

"Alright, ‘di pa rin naman ako gutom, Elizabeth added.

Tumaas ang kilay ko. It's their choice so bahala sila. Amp.

Tahimik lang na sumunod sa'min si Erica at kumpara kanina mas seryoso at walang ekspresyon ang mga mata nya ngayon.
She’s so Weird.

A three groups of male students is on our way, I guess 10 members per groups at kung wala kami sa lugar na ito at nasa normal na university lang kami ay baka nalaglag na ang panga ko dahil halos lahat... no, as in LAHAT sila walang patapon, they're so perfect.

I cursed myself as my lips parted when I tried to look closely in the man who really caught my attention, perfect jaw, nose, and lips, thick brows and mysterious dark eyes, conventionally attractive.

I don't know if I'm just hallucinating but he's staring deeply at my eyes. Oh sh*t! I felt conscious on how I look right now.

D*mn it! this is wrong Rain!!! Stop daydreaming. You are not here for that man! Not for your own highschool love story!

Alam kong halos di na ako makagalaw pero di ko pinahalata iyon I tried so hard to maintain my blank expression and luckily my mind won against my heart. Stupid Rain.

"U-hm Rain, I think we s-should find another way.." Elizabeth stopped me when I started to walk. I gave her a questioning look.

"Never face the demons Rain,” Erica said that made my gaze shift from the group of men with ethereal beauty to her.

"We'll let you know about it later, let's go for now." Kofi held my hand and pulled me away.

Hindi na ako nakipagtalo at nagpatangay nalang sa kanila. Kung may nagbago man sa eskwelahan na ito, 'yun ay ang mga students male groups na 'yun na parang kpop idol groups.

Tsk. Seriously Rain? Focus on your goal! Never give you attention to those man! stupid. I cursed at myself inside my mind.

Mukhang mababaliw na talaga ako sa university na'to... and these three musketeers owe me an explanation.
