Riiiiiiing. Riiiiiiing. Riiiiiiing.

I glance at my phone on the table and see Soobin's name pop up.

"Answer it!" Roseanne hands my phone to me.

Answer it! rings inside my head, but I can't bring myself to actually hit the green button.

Why... Why can't I?

Y/N POV:

"Im back!" I announce shutting the door behind me.

There was just silence.

Did they leave? I ask myself.

As I enter the living room I see Roseanne and Yeonjun staring in disbelief at their phones.

"Uh guys...?" I ask timidly.

"Y/N, where did you really go just now?" Yeonjun asks me but his eyes don't meet mine.

"The bookstore, why is there a weird vibe right now?" I ask confused.

"There's an article of you out... it's not very good," Roseanne says handing me her phone.

My eyes skim the title- TXT'S LEADER SOOBIN'S GF CHEATS ON HIM WITH MYSTERY BOOKSTORE HEARTTHROB.

"WHAT!" I shout, "That's not even close to what happened! I just saw a childhood friend there I haven't seen in years."

"How did the news get that photo of you two then?" Yeonjun asks angrily.

"How am I supposed to know?" I retort back. Then I immediately realize that if they saw the article, Soobin did too. "Oh god Soobin," I collapse on the floor. I'm still mad at him for everything but I can't imagine what he's feeling right now.

Roseanne crouches down next to me and places a hand on my shoulder. "You don't know anyone that could have done this?"

"Taehyung."

"What?" They both ask at the same time.

"I thought I might of seen him when I was at the bookstore, but now I'm certain. It had to of been him."

"That's a pretty serious accusation," Yeonjun says.

"Roseanne, what do you know about Taehyung and Soobin's past relationship?" I turn to her.

Yeonjun and Roseanne exchange glances.

"They were like brothers at one point... but then things got kind of ugly between them. It's not really my place to say anything," she says looking down.

"What do you mean not your place? Yeonjun do you also know something I don't?" I turn to him.

~ Ding-Dong Ding-Dong ~

"Sheesh I'm coming!" Roseanne rushes to the door.

"Where is he?" Soobin says walking past her.

"Hey!" she yells.

"Yeonjun I swear your sister-" Soobin instantly stops in his tracks once he sees me.

"Yes?" Yeonjun asks.

"Soobin," I say under my breath.

"I uh," he clears his throat, "didn't expect her to still be here."
