Homecoming day
"Ahhhhhh!"
"That's insane!", Hannah squealed after I told her that Aiden asked me to homecoming.

"Yeah, it really was"

"And I can't believe you said yes!"

"I can't either"
"And stop yelling"

"Okay, but only because my throat hurts, not because you told me to", I rolled my eyes at her.

"I was surprised as well, when he asked me"
"I didn't think he saw me that way...or maybe I'm just reading into this too much"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, what if he just asked to go as friends?"

"Out of all the girls willing to go with him, why would he choose to go with a 'friend'?", she asked using air quotes.

"I don't know, maybe he doesn't like the other girls"

"Oh my gosh Madison, can't you see he likes you?"

Does he? No, that can't be true.

"I don't know alright, let's just stop talking about him"

"Okay", she replied putting her arms up in surrender.

"How are you and Ryan?"

"We're good"
"Anyways...", she said changing the subject quickly.

"Hannah"

"Mmm", she said not looking up.

"What's wrong?"

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing"

"Hannah"

She sighed, "He hardly spends time with me anymore"

"Did you talk to him about it?"

"No"

"Maybe he misses someone", I said implying something.

"Your talking about Aiden", she caught on.

"Yeah"
"So...", I said after she didn't respond.

"So I guess we need to fix it"

"What about your homecoming plan?", I smirked.

"Shut up, and plus I want to have a fun night out with friends", she responded.

"You know what they say, the more the merrier", I shrugged.

^^^^^^^
Later that day
"How do I look?", I asked hannah once we finished getting ready for homecoming.

I looked in the mirror having doubts of this wearing this dress.

Mainly because I'm not a dress girl.

"You look like you could be on vogue magazine, shorty", I laughed at her over exaggeration.

I chose a yellow dress cause I felt like it would be a cute colour on me and the dress is really pretty.

Anyways, since I have kinky, coily hair, I slicked my hair back into a ponytail.

"Thanks. You look stunning too", I said turning to her.

She chuckled, "Thanks"
"So do you remember the plan?"

"Girl I've been waiting for this day, of course I remember it", she laughed.

"Well your days of waiting are over"
"Well, that's if the plan works"

"Its gonna work"

"Just saying"
