General POV

Jack had escaped the brig, and in all the hectic on the Dutchman he could wander right into the room with the heart.

'Halt there or we'll shoot.' One of the soldiers shouted to Jack.

It were the two idiots from the time he saved Elizabeth out of the water and he saw Rose for the first time.

Got she looked amazing in that dress. And even better when I had my cuffs around her neck .

Jack shook off the thought.

Then suddenly an cannonball hit the back of the room.

Making Jack smile.

'Good one!' Jack said while walking over to the place were his stuff was laying.

'Just came her to grab me effects.' Jack said

While putting on the belt and his gun.

'Admirable though it may be, why are you here when you could be elsewhere?' Jack asked the two looking a almost a big disgusted.

Jack put his hat on his head.

'Someone has to stay and guard the chest.' One of the soldiers said.

'There's no question, there's a breakdown in military discipline on this vessel. ' the other one said.

They were discussing a lot of things to each other.

Only having attention to one another.

Which made Jack smirk his small little plan worked.

They were still as dumb as they looked.

And Jack picked up the chest and left the room.

Outside in the horrible rain the Pearl and the Dutchman were still shooting at each other.

'Prepare to board!' Mr. Mercer yelled.

'Cover!' Jones suddenly yelled.

And he jumped towards Mr. Mercer.

There was a cannonball coming straight at them.

When Jones and Mercer stood up, they saw all the soldiers laying on the ground dying or badly wounded.

To which Jones saw his chance and he grabbed Mercer by his arms.

Mercer knew he had no authority over Jones right now.

So he looked him straight in his eyes.

Jones knew he had found a blind spot that the East India Trading Company wouldn't notice.

And he smirked at mercer.

His tentacles started to go up to his face.

And slithered in his mouth, his nose and his eyes.

Making him choke. And dying.

To which Jones could grab the key.

And he walked towards the room with the Chest.

Where Jack just walked out off.

Jones started laughing.

'Ahaha lookee here, boys.

A lost bird.' Jones spat at Sparrow.

'A lost bird that never learned to fly.' Jones said to Jack while the crew and he stepped closer.

Jack was backing out a bit.

Trying to adjust to the rain that was falling.

Jones pulled his sword.
