Chapter 16-  Irene Steele

Have you ever been woken up but soft kisses by that one adorable boyfriend of yours? And do you remember how cute and warming it was to have that affection in the morning?

Well that's exactly what i thought i was waking up to. But no Alec my awful soon-to-be-dead boyfriend decided that no he isn't going to be cliché. Oh nooo! Not Alec. He thought that putting left over spaghetti on my face was much heart warming....

So which brings us to right now.  I am currently chasing Alec outside with the pot of spaghetti, flinging noodles at him and yelling very horrible and perfect gibberish. But of course him being a very fit athlete, i am failing miserably. I mostly getting myself than him actually.

"Fine!" I yelled putting the pot on the floor. "You sleep outside tonight!" Stomping back to the cottage, i was infuriated.  But not because he played a prank on him but because i couldn't get him freaking back.

"See if i ever kiss you again!" Walking up the steps i lied. Like as if i was going to stop doing that. You say all kinds of ridiculous stuff when your angry.

I grabbed the handle and i felt an all to familiar pair of arm around my waste. "What was that?" He spoke softly in my ear.

Frowning i crossed my arms. "You heard me." I twisted in him arms and faced him. "You get poop. And im sleeping alone tonight. " I glared at him. And you know what makes me more mad.... is that he fūcking grinning. Ohhhh that just. Ughh.

"You don't mean that right baby?" He started to lean in. Dāmmit he hit me with that soft voice.

"Oh I mea-" He cut me off as his lips kissed mine. Dammit.

"What was that?" He said as he pulled away from me.

He was right i didn't mean it as if I'm going to tell him that. So i simply turned and walked inside to shower leaving him outside.

"Nothing huh." he spoke behind me.

"Nope!" I kept walking throught the house.

"Our appointment is at 11:00.." I stopped. "To see my mom." he spoke quietly.

I turned around and saw him looking on to the floor biting his bottom lip. Now reaching him i kissed his cheek and hugged him.

"Okay I'll be ready ina bit Alec"

Nervous, Is what i felt waiting for his mother in a dull room with two couches. Alec's hands were sweaty and he wouldn't stop shaking his knee so i can tell he to was nervous.

"Are you nervous?" I asked softly.

"A little.." His leg paused. "The last time i came she wasn't all there but she wasn't all gone. If that makes sense?"

"Kind of.. She's able to talk right?"

"Oh yeah, She's actually quite talkative.." He tightened my hand. "Are you nervous?" He looked up at me with wide eyes.

"Yes and no." He raised an eyebrow. "I just don't want her to hate me"

"She won't, i promise." He kissed my cheek. Those small gestures are what kill me....

"When was the last time your dad visited her?"

"Actually he--" He stopped talking as soon as the door opened and in walked in a tall, slim, blonde woman with her hair in her face.

"Mom!" Alec stood up as the woman looked at him lost for like a split second then joy over came her face. "Alec ! My baby!" Irene hugged her son. They stayed like that for a few minutes and you could tell just how much they missed each other. It hurt to see Alec so happy to see his mom, no one should be away from their mother.
