"Awh, come on man! It'll be fineee," I said.

"Hey so, I don't think we'll get even a little bit of this project done today, especially in class. So I'm wondering... Would you maybe want to come over to my house after school to work on it?" Mark asked, scratching the back of his neck. I laughed a bit at how awkward he was with asking this.

"Yeah, I'm down! As long as you're cool with it of course!" I smiled.

"Of course I'm fine with it. I mean, you're my friend. Plus, if I wasn't okay with it I wouldn't have asked you to come over!" Mark smiled.

"Yeah, that makes a lot of sense- I'll just need to let my parents know, which I'll do now..." I said, getting my phone out. I quickly texted my parents. I knew they wouldn't care enough.

"Yeah, sounds good!" Mark said.

"Alright, they're cool with it... Now, shall we get started?" I asked, getting an immediate text back that just read 'ok'.

"Ah yeah, we should so that we'll have less work to do later," Mark answered.

We started working on the project, but obviously couldn't stay on task because... It's us. The bell rang, signaling class was over. We walked out, continuing making jokes.

"Oh my God, shut up! That did NOT happen!" I laughed.

"I'm dead serious!! Man, Tommy and Toby-" Mark laughed.

"They seem really interesting. I'd love to meet them!" I smiled.

"I mean, maybe you can! I could call them later tonight if you really want," Mark said. My face lit up a bit.

"Wait seriously?" I asked. Mark smiled softly.

"Yeah! I'm dead serious!" Mark said.

"I mean, now I'm able to ask how the hell he got my number!" I joked. Mark laughed awkwardly.

"Ah yeah, still I'm sorry about that, again–" Mark said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Mark, you're good! I'm glad that happened, otherwise I don't think we would've gotten as close as we are now! If anything, I should thank your friend for that prank!" I smiled, putting my hand on Mark's shoulder. Mark smiled with relief.

"I'm glad you're not upset by it. Uh, quick warning- Tommy and Tubbo are very chaotic..." Mark said. I have him a look.

"Tubbo...?" I questioned. He had said Toby a bit ago...

"Sorry, that's what he's called online- His real name is Toby," Mark corrected.

"Ahhh, I see. Well, I'm excited to meet them!" I smiled.

"I hope you like them because if not, then... I don't know. A lot of people find Tommy annoying when they first meet him. Often call him a... Child." Mark tried his best to not laugh when he called Tommy a child. I laughed at that though.

"How old is he?" I asked. Mark thought for a second.

"He's our age, 17." Mark answered.
