"Neville?"

If I hadn't been told Neville was in the kitchen, I wouldn't have recognized him at all. His entire body was covered in bruises and bruises, each separated by cuts.
And his face didn't look like his own anymore. His eye was swollen and he was missing a front tooth. His ear was half ripped off and his hair was completely shaved off.

"Hermione..." he croaked softly, trying to force a smile. But that faded to a pain-filled hiss. "What did he do to you..." he asked, but he waved his hand and handed me a plate instead, which he immediately filled with food. He didn't seem to have gotten any himself.
When he finished loading plates, I rushed into the dining room and parked him in front of Rookwood.

Then I hurried back and immediately accepted the next plate. I also carried this into the dining room until we finally put all the plates down in front of the Death Eaters. Bella put the chain back on for me and tied it to her chair. She ordered me to sit down next to her like a dog, which I did somewhat reluctantly.

Neville was pulled roughly by his broken ear to his master and pinned to the ground beside him. He hung a chain around his neck, which immediately caused Neville's neck to be pulled down.

I was so uncomfortable that I turned my head away. Suddenly a small piece of meat appeared in front of my mouth. I looked up at Bella who was holding it out to me and nodded as I looked at her questioningly. I went to reach for it but she pulled it away but placed it right in front of my mouth again. I hesitantly grabbed it with my teeth.

Instantly her hand was gone again when it was empty. I curled up a bit and rested my head on my arm when suddenly Draco said my name. "What are you planning to do with Granger?" I lifted my head and looked at Lestrange. She noticed this and hissed at me not to listen. I immediately put my head back on my arm. I tried not to listen, but it was impossible. ,,I do not know yet. Probably destroying her mentally so that she's worse than the Weasley girl."

Her gaze rested uncomfortably on my shoulder. "Muddy what do you say to that." I looked at her from below, which made me feel submissive again. I shrugged, which made her laugh. "And we also need a maid." Draco nodded and gave me a smug look. "Then can I dress you up for it?" he asked, grinning even more like his father. I looked at Bella pleadingly, but she ignored me and nodded.

-----Timeskip-----

Bella unchained me and asked me to wash the dishes. I nodded and put this in a pile and was about to get it out when Lestrange's hand was on the back of my hand. "Rookwood will follow with Neville later. Please behave appropriately." I nodded again and finally carried the dishes out. When I was alone, I drew water and sighed at the calm. Just as I was washing the cutlery, the two men entered the room.

"Good evening Granger." He said, stepping over to the sink. I nodded to him and continued my work, but that didn't seem to be enough for him as he grabbed my ear and pulled me away from the sink" He rebuked me monotonously.
"Good evening Mister Rookwood," I said hesitantly. He immediately let go of me and put Neville next to me. "Take her as an example." Augustus said to him and slapped him hardly on the back of his head, then leaned against the wall and watched.

I put the silverware down beside me and Neville dried them and put them away Plates and glasses followed, and when we were done, Rookwood's voice rang out. "Granger. You look surprisingly... healthy." He stated. I turned to him. "Either you're so broken that Bellatrix has nothing to complain about, which I don't think from her answer at the table, or she's being too tender with you." He continued his train of thought out loud.

I thought a little, because a wrong answer would be serious. "I try to avoid any kind of punishment." He raised an eyebrow. "Do you doubt something about my mistress?" I asked as indifferently as possible. He shook his head and left the room. He shooed Neville in front of him. After some time cleaning up the kitchen, I left it. Outside, Rookwood was talking to Bella. She waved me over. When I got to her, she grabbed my neck.

"You dare to talk about me like that?!" She pushed my head down. Overwhelmed, I let it go over me. "I don't know what you're talking about," I said, which earned me a slap in the face. "Rookwood said you said about me I'm incapable and you doubt me." I shook my head and uttered desperate denials. ,,No. Mister Rookwood was the one who tried to frame you for being too affectionate with me." She slapped me across the face.

"Don't you dare lie to my face." She snapped, pinning me against the wall. "But I don't!" I uttered anxiously. She slapped me again. "Are you telling me he's lying?" she hissed. I nodded cautiously. "Bellatrix, I have to apologize, but she actually didn't say that. On the contrary, she defended you." She let go of me.

"But I didn't doubt you at all." He added. She raised her hand again to slap me again, but I held my hands protectively in front of my face. "Then I misunderstood you! Sorry Bellatrix .sorry" I whimpered. She lowered her hand. "Then we'll talk in pairs." She explained to me and hung the chain on the collar and then attached it to a pole on the wall. However, this was too high for me to sit down and so I just remained uneasy on the wall stand.
