"What a nasty bite...did you see that beetle too?"

Name: Shadepaw

Gender: male

Appearance: A smokey black tom with a lean and slender frame. He has short, but thick fur with a white muzzle that extends downwards all the way to his belly and one left forepaw. His tail is long and feathery, and he has amber eyes with a orange undertone.

Personality:  A bit of an oddball; Shadepaw is often gazing into nothing, often times muttering things that don't quite make sense or suddenly switching topics. He could be talking about how tired he is one minute, then suddenly eagerly talk about fish swimming. He often has alot of thoughts running through his head; and can be quite talkactive. However he knows that he can be annoying when in the midst of his rambles; and will suddenly clam up. Often times, his personality is dependent on his emotions, causing him to go from kit like excitement, to as quiet and withdrawn as a clam

"I know you said to change the bedding yesterday, but I'll do it tomorrow"

Likes: daydreaming, talking about things he likes, going for swims and breezy weather

Dislikes: hot weather, being scolded for not paying attention, leaf-bare since it ruins herbs

Background: When he was born, Shadepaw was obviously alot different from his fellow kits. For one, he'd often stare off into the distance alot. However odd, he was clearly smart and could remember herbs easily. At a young age he'd hang around Dawnfeather, the medicine cat at the time. The normally ill tempered medicine cat seemed to have a soft spot for the day-dreaming tom, and despite him never being too fast when it came to doing tasks; he was still deserving of his full medicine cat name

Extra: Shadepaw often has very vivid dreams of his older brother who sadly died from infection a few moons after he was born

"Huh..what were you saying?"
