It was still early in the morning, you had just began getting for school, your pants and dress shirt on, but knowing your childhood friend, she was already up and about
"Morning mei" you murmured out as you entered the workshop as you were still half asleep and as you thought, mei was already looking at the data from yesterday
"Morning Y/NNNNN! That was a great test drive you did yesterday! It seems flying falcon was a great addition wasn't it?"
She asked turning he chair to look at you as you finished buttoning up your shirt
"You bet!, Probably would've gotten expulsed if it wasn't for it" you said chuckling slight while mei stood up putting her hands on your shoulders
"That's not happening, even if something's happens that scares your parents I'm sure i would step up to convince them... Not just me but mina too!"
She said shaking you a little, you were speachless for a second, surprised at meis words but you just smiled again
"Yeah, thanks mei"
"You owe me lunch now"
She said before walking off to get ready herself
"H-hey!! So that was all just sugar coating?!"
"Everything is fair in love, war and food!"

"MMMM! Man everything is so delicious!!"
You heard Mina shout out as you ate lunch with her, of course mei was free loading and kirishima joined in aswell so you couldn't get some alone time with her but you weren't mad, it felt nice that the lunch table wasn't just you and mei for once
"For real man! Guess this is what U.A gets it's praise from!"
"You sure it's not the hero course?"
You responded at kirishima sharing chuckle with him
The conversation went on like this for a good while, just enjoying your time with your new found classmates
"Um excuse me, L/N was it?"
Said s soft voice, which you remembered was midoryas from yesterday
"Oh! Midorya! See your finger is better now huh?"
"Y-yeah, you have recovery girl to thank for that"
You nodded seeing he was accompanied by the brown hair girl whole launched the ball you had to catch
"Oh! Ochakos was it? Nice to meet you!"
She soon turned to look at you and smiled nodding
"It's nice to meet you aswell"
"So what brings you two here?"
Asked kirishima as he kept eating, but before Midorya could speak up you all heard a growling noise coming from Ochakos stomach
"...I'm sorry, i didn't bring any money so"
She said nervously, before mina stood up hands on table
"What?! Aww come on let's get you something to eat"
She said before rushing off with uraraka to get something for the poor girl
"So what were you saying Midorya?"
"Oh! Well, if i remember correctly, you said you didn't have a quirk of your own right?"
Asked the green haired boy making you nod laying back on your sit
"What about it?"
"Well you see... I didn't get my quirk u til very recently, and well, i think it's really cool how you managed to overcome being quirkless, and um I'm a big power rider fan myself so i-"
Soon enough he began murmuring as he kept speaking making mei and kirishima surprised at the amount of words the kid could say in a second
You on the other hand just put your drink to his forehead, the cold making him stop and look at you
"A lot on your mind ain't there?"
You said making him blush a bit ashamed and nodding
You just chuckled and set your drink down before begin to speak
"Honestly, being here is still blind blowing to me, i honestly have mei to thank for most of this"
You said making mei blush and rub the back of her neck at the sudden praise from you
"And getting through this without a quirk does scare be a bit but..."
You said looking down before smiling
"There's only one person who can make my dream come true... And that's me!"
You said raising your face and pointing your thumb at yourself before smiling widely
Midorya seemed surprised by your words but after a bit nodded and smiled
"That was really inspirational! Honestly shows you have a chance at all this you know?"
He remarked as he smiled back
"Yeah! Y/N is great at speeches isn't he? Always knows how to cheer people up"
Said mei wrapping her arm around your shoulder smiling
"Too bad that just turns off when he's around girls other then me"
She said teasing making you flare up
"H-Hey!!! That's no true!"
After this you laughed a bit as Ashido and uraraka came back, and the six of you enjoyed a nice lunch together

After lunch you began walking back to class before Midorya spoke up once you two were a bit away from everyone else
"Hey Y/N.. i just wanted to um say"
He said nervously before looking up with a determined look
"That I'll be number one hero! So this will make us rivals!"
He said taking you back, so he had as much of a wild dream you..
This made you smile widely as you patted his shoulder
"Then i guess I'll have to work harder to keep up with you"
You said before rushing off towards Ashido, as you two began speaking
"Soooo, what you think is in store for us now?"
She asked tilting her head as she looked at you before you just looked ahead, your hand going through your hair
"I'm guessing I'm gonna have to keep you awake during math class"
