Chapter 13~ Demon troubles

Clary's POV

"What is it" i snapped, while I wiped the blood off Simons face, with a cloth.

"There's demons trying to get in the instudite, and their surronding the place" he states, causally.

"Well...they can't get in, their demons" i say. "Beside, why do you care? Did you really knock out my best friend just to tell me this?!"

"I just thought this would be important to you, beacuse...you know, your 'boyfriend' is there, and i knocked out your little vampire friend beacuse i felt like it." he shrugs

"You felt like it" i grint out. "He could have a concussion now, because of you!" i spat. "Besides, how do i know you aren't lying, they would have called me"

"They were a little busy" he shrugs.

I resite the urge to roll my eyes at him. "Whatever" I mutter. "I'm sure they'll be fine"

The truth was that I really wanted to go and help, but I couldn't. I just couldn't face him yet, not after what he did.

Suddenly, my phone starts to ring. I look at the screen and see its my mom.

"Hi" I say, picking up.

"Clary, are you at Simons?" She says. "Yes" I say.

"Good. Stay there. Me and Luke just got a call from Marysa, and she just came back now there's demons surrounding the instudite for some reason and their trying to get in" she says.

I swallow. "Y-your not actually going to go help them, are you?" I ask.

"Me and Luke can take them from the outside" she reasons.

I shake my head, furiously. "No. No, mom. You can't. You don't even know how many demons are out there!" I say, my voice breaking a bit.

"Sorry sweetie, I love you" she says, and ends the call.

I have to help them.

I quickly grab my blades and begin to walk toward the door- totally forgetting about Sebastian.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Shouts Sebastian.

"I'm ganna go kick some demon ass!" I yell back, and shut the door close.
