"Hi sweetie, how did you sleep?" Arizona asked as she gave Meredith a warm smile
"Good" Meredith smiled a bit
Ellis rolled her eyes in response
"Okay, Meredith. We're gonna start your last round of chemo today" Christopher sounded excited "Than it should be over with chemo"
"No, I don't wanna" Meredith whined
"Hey, brave girl. Just one more round and then you're officially in remission" Christopher smiled
"Don't wanna!" She yelled
"Meredith!" Ellis yelled and Meredith flinched in response "You can start" Ellis said
"You'll be okay" Arizona rubbed Meredith's hand
Christopher and Arizona hooked up all the meds before they started dripping into the little girl's body
"Hurts" Meredith complained after a while
"Meredith, that's normal. You should know by now" Ellis sighed and left the room to get coffee
Meredith felt sick and started vomiting over herself, she couldn't stop. She was drenched in her own vomit
"Meredith" Carolyn gasped as she passed by "Hi, are you okay?"
Meredith shook her head and continued throwing up over herself
"Okay, you're okay. We're gonna change the sheets and make sure you're clean" Carolyn said and pressed the nurse button for some assistance. She and another nurse cleaned up Meredith. The little girl fell asleep in Carolyn's grip
"What happened here?" Ellis asked confused as she walked back into the room with a cup of coffee in her hand
"She threw up over herself" Carolyn quickly replied without paying too much attention to Ellis as she was trying to take care of the sleeping girl who was sleeping in her arms
Ellis rolled her eyes and took a seat in one of the chairs and started doing some paperwork instead of paying any attention to her daughter
"-Lynn" Meredith whined as she woke up again "My tummy" She complained
"Here, sweetie" Carolyn grabbed a bucket and let Meredith vomit into it. She saw the little girl was shivering
"C-Cold" Meredith whispered
"Meredith, cover yourself up with your blanket" Ellis snapped
"Shh, it's the chemo" Carolyn rubbed Meredith's back
Ellis' pager went off and she left the room without saying anything
Meredith started sobbing as Ellis was gone and Carolyn stood up, quickly grabbing a couple of extra blankets and she started to tuck in Meredith
"It will be okay, sweetie. I'm staying with you" Carolyn said and noticed Meredith kept sobbing. She got into bed with Meredith and held the girl covered with blankets close in her arms
After a couple of hours, Meredith woke up in Carolyn's arms
"Hey, Meredith. How are you feeling?"
Meredith shrugged in response
"Wanna watch a movie?" Carolyn suggested and Meredith nodded in response
"Oh, you're still here?" Ellis frowned as she walked in
"I didn't wanna leave her by herself" Carolyn responded
"She'll have to get used to it, I can't stay with her every minute of the day
"You've been gone for three hours" Carolyn frowned
"I have work to do!" Ellis snapped
"Mommy.. we're gonna watch the lion king" Meredith smiled a bit
"Shouldn't you read or watch something useful?" Ellis asked
"Can I sleep?" Meredith quietly asked
"I'll turn off the tv" Carolyn smiled and tucked in Meredith again
"She'll be fine, I have paperwork to do" Ellis said, trying to send Carolyn away
"I can stay here if you want? Maybe my daughter can come visit"
"Amy?" Meredith sat up a bit
"No, thank you. She needs to rest" Ellis said
"Okay" Carolyn looked furious "Meredith, dear.. I'll come see you soon"
"Don't worry, we're going home soon" Ellis responded and ended the conversation
